I had been in England for 10 years after getting here when I was 13, escaping my past. I had lost my twin sister when I had gotten to England but then I was able to find my way. But today, I was going to a new job. I had been working for the police for a long time but now I was being taken to Scotland Yard to become a detective because of my skills and my quick reactions in these difficult situations according to my commander. I drove to the station. My coffee in the cup holder and my hair down and curled. My black leather jacket is in the passenger seat and I have my high brown boots, dark jeans and quarter sleeve green shirt on. My make up looks slightly rushed and I have my necklace on with the key to the TARDIS and my name engraved in it. On my right wrist I have Sara's bracelet on, my twin sister's.

I pull into the lot of the station and manage to find the parking spot with my name. I park the car and get out, putting my jacket on and grabbing my coffee and bag. I walk towards the doors drinking my coffee and go inside. I look around at the normal looking station as I walk up the stairs and see many offices. I look around trying to find my way when a man with grey hair and my height comes up to me.

"You must be Ms. Song, I'm Greg Lestrade, one of the detectives here." "It's nice to meet you Greg, yes, that's me but you can call me Jess." I smile kindly and shake his hand. "Let me show you around a bit. For the beginning you'll get your cases from me so I'll show you to mine and your office." He smiles kindly at me as he walks towards his office and I walk after him. He shows me his office, filled with papers, a desk, and two chairs in front of the desk and his leather chair behind it.

Then he takes me to my office, the door having my name on it and I smile as I go inside and find two bookshelves, a desk, and a chair behind. There is a computer and already a few case files on the desk. I smile and set my things down. "I hope this is enough for you. There is a wall where you can put whatever you need for cases and you can move things around however you want." Greg tells me and smiles. "I'll let you get comfortable. You can look through the computer and the cases I've given you. Your partner will be in to meet you sometime today." "Partner?" I look at him. "I thought they told you. Your new partner is Sherlock Holmes. He said he needed an assistant and he is one of the best we have." Greg tells me and then I hear a voice come from the hall. "Wrong, I am the best you have."

And there he walks in the door, Sherlock Holmes, the one I had read about in the paper. He stood in the doorway looking at me. He wore his long coat and blue scarf. "Hello Jessica, the name's Sherlock." "I'm Jess obviously as you apparently already know." I look at him curiously. He turned to Greg. "This is who they managed to find to find to be my assistant?" He said in an annoyed tone. "What's wrong with me? You've only just met me." I snap. He turns to me quickly with a smirk. "I may have only just met you, but I know you more than you know." I look at him confused. "I'll see you tomorrow. Read over the cases and we will start investigating tomorrow. If you need to contact me, Lestrade has my number." And he leaves without another word. I stood there shocked a bit. And right them, I knew this was going to be much more than I signed up for.
