I woke up next to the devil.
His lips were parted slightly, his hair messy on his forehead from the pillow and his eye bags were already puffy. He was snoring ever so softly and it made me Remember the devil was once an Angel.
So, I woke up next to an angel.
I didn't remember any of the moments before truth or dare, but everything after that was etched into my mind.
We didn't do anything more than sleep in the same bed together not for any certain reason. It had been around 8 am and I was sipping on some water when an arm snaked around my waist and Luke Hemmings whispered into my ear groggily, "Come to bed with me, yeah?"
So I did.
And now I'm here, staring at his pale skin waiting for him to wake up. The clock on the dresser said 11:57 and if he didn't wake up soon, I'd have to go home without saying goodbye.
I wanted to say goodbye though. I wanted his eyes to stare back at me just for a second to make sure this entire thing wasn't a dream.But his breath stayed steady as he didn't even bat an eyelash.
So I rolled out of bed and walked out of Calum's room into the living room. Only Michael remained in the living room, cleaning up. Calum and Maddie we're probably still asleep somewhere."Morning," Michael said groggily grabbing a bother of Advil and throwing it to me.
I caught it, and poured two into my hand, tossing it back with no water."Thanks. I'll talk to you guys on Monday." I said slipping on my shoes.
"Later," Michael said continuing to stuff trash into his trash bag.
I walked out of the front door and down the road.
I didn't remember who drove me over here but I knew they weren't here now. Calum barely lived three blocks away from me so I didn't mind walking. Maybe it would cure the hangover.I walked home and through the front door.
Dad's car wasn't in the driveway so I assumed he either a.) went out to breakfast or b.) left for a month.Anyway, I walked upstairs into my room, got changed into Pajamas, and hopped back in bed.
Nothing but an Angel on my mind as I drifted to sleep.
~~~~~~~When I woke up at the banging sound at my window my room was black. How I managed to sleep until almost 6 was unbelievable to me.
And even more unbelievable was the banging coming from my window.I groaned and rolled out of bed rubbing my eyes. A face was perched in the window startling me.
I huffed as I opened up the window, Luke hemmings was sitting on my roof, rain pouring on his head.
"You must have an awfully good reason to wake me up hemmings," I said glaring at the boy. "You know how much I love to sleep during rainy weather."He didn't say anything just stared at me.
"Are you going to come in or sit there in the rain like an idiot?" I asked giving him a sarcastic smile: why was he acting so weird?
He didn't say anything again but grabbed my neck and pulled it towards him, kissing me through the window.
Shit.
I forgot.
The kiss was sweet and long. Not a drunk sloppy one like last night or like our break up kisses, it was a normal relationship kiss.
One I had craved since the beginning of the year.Luke pulled away slowly his eyes still Closed. He looked up at me through those eyes I wanted to see this morning, scanning my face for any sort of reaction.
