They ran through the underground tunnels of UA Police Academy, trying to stay hidden and unseen. The aliens were dangerous, they already got a couple students and many people from the outside. Izuku Midoriya prayed that his mom was still alive, UA had emergency protocol for all students to head underground but his mother would only have a closet to hide in and locks on the windows. Their teacher, Chief Aizawa, was leading them through the winding tunnels and towards their designated shelter. The shelter was supposed to be used as a bomb shelter but now it was an alien invasion shelter.
The news was cut off after an alien saw the reporters while their backs were turned. The cameras cut off but you could just tell that the news anchor died. Shigaraki turned to his small mafia crew, "Looks like the takedown of UA is gonna have to wait...", he said. He hoped his sarcasm would calm them down a little, their worrying was getting annoying. Twice, the hacker that earned his name by being able to hack into the US military's system two times, was already pacing back and forth and sipping on his special stress tea. Their base was hidden but it wasn't the best, and the aliens weren't looking for anything, they were just destroying things. And eating people. They did lots of eating people.
"Detective Toshinori! We received orders to head to the bomb shelters underground!", Head Detective Nezu yelled. Bad idea. An alien swooped in and made a beeline for Nezu's head. The other Detective made it just in time to knock the alien away with a folded chair. "You get to the shelter, I need to find someone!", Toshinori said hurriedly. Nezu ran to the hatch that opened to the tunnels and shelter route. He slipped in, closing it as quietly as he could possibly close a metal door.
Mina clamped a hand over her mouth, trying to hold in her cries as an alien walked past the classroom she was in. She had one hand clinging onto a desk for dear life and the other placed firmly on the ground ready to push off so she could stand and run out of there. She felt weak, helpless, and most off all betrayed. She was left behind by her class, she knew it wasn't their fault. They had left her in the classroom as they headed off to lunch, forgetting the girl who was desperately trying to fit her books in her bag. The next thing she knew sirens were going off and in the commotion some kid running past her room accidentally slammed the door shut and now she couldn't get it open without alerting the aliens to her.
Toshinori had been asked to find the girl named Mina by one of her friends, Tsuyu. He looked everywhere for the student with pink hair. He finally came across a shut door that he knew belonged to her classroom. He prayed she was in there. Opening the door quietly, he saw the girl crying in the middle of the room, clutching a desk and sitting on the floor. He rushed over to her, staying low to the ground in a crouch, and took her hand. He lead her to a tunnel entrance and, once inside, the two ran for class 1-A's shelter.
Tsuyu was hugging Uraraka tight, crying about her lost friend. "It's okay Tsu, I'm sure Detective T will find her!" Suddenly Mina and the infamous Detective T burst into the shelter and Mina rushed to hug her friends, the three of them sobbing together in relief and fear. Toshinori walked over to a nervous Izuku. "Young Midoriya, I'm sure Inko is okay. She's a strong woman." Izuku looked over at the his mother's boyfriend and forced a smile as he nodded between sniffles. Despite him coming into their lives very recently, Izuku had welcomed Toshinori and he became the father Izu had never met.
Back with the AFO Mafia, twice stopped freaking out and finally told everyone what he'd done. "You what?!", Dabi yelled. Lucky for Dabi their base was sound proof, otherwise Shigaraki would've killed him right then and there. Toga smacked Twice over the head, "How could you hack into an alien server, piss them off, and not tell anyone that they threatened to destroy our entire planet?!", she asked demandingly. "I didn't mean to, I thought it was some kid playing a joke!", Twice protested. "How did you even speak to them if you don't know their language?!", Dabi asked. Twice looked over at the runaway, "They're actually fluent in Spanish.", he said. Shigaraki through his hands up in frustration and walked into another room to stop the temptation of stabbing Twice.
Bakugou Katsuki had always thought of Izuku as someone in his way, but now, he pitied the boy who was being held back from running to find his mother. Inko was like an aunt to Katsuki and he knew that she was all Izuku had left. Katsuki got up and walked to Izuku. "Kirishima, let him go I got him.", he said to his red headed friend. Kirishima let Izuku go and handed him over to the blonde. Katsuki hugged Izuku and let him cry into his shoulder. Izuku wasn't expecting this from his neighbor with the anger issues but he was glad someone was able to understand how badly he needed his mother to be okay. Sure, Toshinori was there for Izuku, and that was great but Toshi didn't know how hard Izuku had struggled when it was just him and his mom and his mom wasn't able to find a stable job for a while.
It's funny, ironic... Inko had just gotten a job at a major cuisine industry and now she was the cuisine for aliens in an industry called Earth. She let a tear roll down her cheek as an alien's mouth got closer and closer to biting her head clean off. She was giving up. But then Mitsuki Bakugou, her best friend and next door neighbor, slammed a fire extinguisher into the aliens back, ramming it into the creature's body. Purple goo that they assumed was alien guts and blood were sprayed across the room and Inko looked at her friend who was standing victorious in the Midoriya living room. Mitsuki's husband, Masaru Bakugou stood behind her with a shocked and definitely terrified expression on his face. His wife was scary!
Inko, Mitsuki, and Masaru ran to the car and Masaru slammed his foot on the gas pedal as hard as he could. They drove through the deserted streets as fast as they could, running over aliens if they could. Mitsuki opened her door and pulled a kid in at one point. They never stopped driving though. In the middle of racing through town Mitsuki had quickly opened and shut her car door to pull a child in. The kid was clearly scared and Mitsuki handed her over to Inko in the backseat. "What's your name little one?", Inko asked as calmly as she could. "My name's Eri...", the small child said. "What a pretty name!", Inko told the girl.
