AMELIAS POV
"Derek can we prep OR 4 for 3PM?" I asked him as we walked down the hallway.
"Craniotomy?" Derek asked.
"Yes," I said. I went to write on the OR board and I froze. She was here. She was in Seattle. She was in the hospital. I completely froze and couldn't move. Arizona Robbins.
"Amy you good?" Derek asked as he took a marker out of my hand. I ran as fast as I could to Arizona and wrapped my arms around her as I started to cry.
"What are you doing here?" I asked.
"I finally found you," she chuckled.
"I am so sorry I never texted I had a horrible drug problem and I never knew how to tell you and then I went to rehab with months without a phone and then I just never knew how to tell you," I cried.
"Sh it's okay," she said softly and hugged me, "are you okay? Are you sober?"
"Yeah I'm okay now," I said. By now Derek had put the pieces together and realized that this was the Arizona that was in the hospital the day he picked me up to move to Seattle.
"You saved my life," I said to Arizona, "and I don't mean that lightly you genuinely saved my life Arizona, and I still love you."
"I love you too," Arizona said, "I've always loved you."
"Arizona?" Derek asked as he walked over to us.
"Hi Derek," Arizona smiled.
"I told you that you should have called her back," Derek joked as he nudged me and then let us be alone.
"He's kind of annoying," I joked as I felt myself blush.
"You're still as cute ever," she said.
"So are you," I said. We walked down the hall and sat down in an empty room.
"So how did you find me?" I chuckled as we sat down on the same bed.
"I saw the paper you and Derek published," she said, "I figured I wanted to see you."
"I'm really sorry how everything happened," I frowned, "I wish I stayed in touch with you more, I've always regretted it because I love you so much."
"Hey it's okay," she said and leaned in and kissed me, "no need to apologize."
"Okay," I said softly.
"I'm so glad you're okay, and that you're alive, I was always worried something horrible happened," she said softly, "I never knew if you were okay."
"I'm okay I promise," I said, "It got bad for a little while but I went to rehab and I've been sober for a long time."
"I'm so sorry you had to go through that," she said as she moved her hair out of my face.
"It's okay," I said quietly. I looked at her and then her hands. I didn't see a wedding ring.
"So how have you been?" I asked.
"Pretty good," she said, "you?"
"Good yeah," I said.
"So do you have a boyfriend or girlfriend?" She asked.
"No," I said, "do you?"
"No," she said, "I just kissed you you dork."
"True," I chuckled, "and I'm not a dork anymore."
"I read the paper you and Derek wrote. You're still a dork," she teased.
"I've really missed you," I admitted, "I haven't seen you since that night at the hospital."
"I know," she said, "what happened after that? Did Derek get custody of you?"
"Yeah," I nodded, "I hadn't seen my mother since, and then she died a few years ago."
"I'm glad she never hurt you again," Arizona said and held my hand.
"Thank you for saving me," I said.
"Stop thanking me," she chuckled.
"You're still as beautiful as when we first met. Your gorgeous blue eyes and your curly blonde hair. I've loved everything about you since day one," I said before leaning in to kiss her.
"I've loved everything about you too," she smiled.
