AMELIAS POV
I unlocked the door to my apartment and smiled at Arizona.
"We're home," I giggled.
"It's so you. I love it," Arizona said and kissed my cheek.
"How long are you in Seattle for?" I asked, putting my keys down on the table.
"I don't know," Arizona said, "I didn't really have a plan besides meeting you."
"Well that's cute," I said and kissed her lips.
"I've missed you so much," Arizona said, stroking my cheek.
"I'm really sorry again about how I handled everything," I said embarrassed.
"No need to apologize. We were in high school. You were struggling, it's okay. All that matters is that you're okay," she said sweetly and kissed my forehead.
"So," I said, "how's California."
"Boring," she said.
"Boring?" I chuckled.
"Wasn't the same without you. I moved after college and haven't been back since. My parents moved to Colorado to retire," she said.
"I'm sorry," I said.
"Stop apologizing," Arizona said.
"Anyway want a tour?" I asked as I reached my hand out for her to hold.
"Absolutely," Arizona said.
"Well this is my office," I said as I opened the door. She stopped as she looked at my desk and smiled.
"You kept it," she said.
"Hm?" I said as I turned around and she held up a frame. It was a Polaroid photo from one of the few days we hung out.
"Well it is the only photo of us," I chuckled.
"I remember that day like it was yesterday," she sighed, "I knew you were in trouble. I never should have let you go back home. I should have told my mom I was worried about you. I'm sorry."
"Arizona, I wanted to go home because I didn't want you to know. It's okay, I'm okay now. It's all over with," I said and walked over and kissed her.
"Where's your bedroom?" She chuckled as she bit my lip.
"It's the next stop," I smirked. I walked down the hall and opened my door and she pushed me onto the bed and I giggled.
"I love you," I smiled as I held her in my arms.
"I love you too," she said and kissed my cheek. We started making out as she climbed on top of me. Her hands stopped as the button on my jeans and I froze and looked at her.
"We can stop, I'm, I'm sorry," Arizona said shyly.
"No, it's fine, there's just something you need to know," I said softly.
"Okay," Arizona nodded.
"There's some scars," I said sadly, "on my thighs. From a while ago, I promise, I just uh."
"It's okay baby," she said softly and kissed my forehead, "do you want to stop?"
"No," I said.
"We can, it's not a big deal," she said, I could tell she sensed my nervousness.
"Arizona Robbins, I've waited years for you, I'm not waiting another second," and with that I flipped her over and kissed her.
-
I opened my eyes and Arizona had her arms wrapped around my waist and her head on my chest. I kissed the top of her head as I wrapped my arm around her waist.
"Mmm good morning," Arizona said groggily.
"Someone tired?" I joked.
"Well we had an eventful night," she pouted.
"Oh you enjoyed it," I said and kissed her.
"I did," she said softly and ran her fingers through my hair.DEREKS POV
Arizona came to the hospital yesterday for Amelia. I was shocked honestly. I knew Amelia could never pick up the phone again after what happened. I knew Amelia loved Arizona, but I knew she never wanted to admit what happened and why she never answered her. I hope things went well with them, I know Amelia loved her a lot, and quite frankly, Arizona saved my sister's life. My office door opened and it was Amelia.
"Hey, didn't know if I would be seeing you today," I chuckled.
"You are," she said and handed me a chart.
"How's Arizona?" I said.
"Good," she smiled.
"You're all bubbly, weird," I chuckled.
"I had really good sex," she said.
"Amelia!" I chuckled, "sometimes you forget I'm your brother and not your best friend."
"You are my best friend," she chuckled.
"Not one that you talk about your sex life to," I chuckled.
"Anyway," she said, "I think Arizona is going to be staying a while, do you know if Bailey is looking to hire anyone?"
"If she's not I can put in a good word," I said.
"Really? You'd do that?" She smiled.
"Absolutely," I said.AMELIAS POV
"Arizona!" I giggled as I opened the front door. Arizona was cooking dinner and I smiled.
"Hey baby," she smiled and came over and kissed me.
"I left for a few hours and have a hot chef in my kitchen?" I said, "what did I do to deserve this?"
"Figured you would be hungry after work," Arizona said.
"Well I have good news," I said.
"You do?" She said.
"Chief Bailey is hiring," I said.
"Wait really? That's awesome," she smiled.
"Yup," I said, "which brings me to my next question."
"Okay," Arizona said.
"Will you be my girlfriend and stay here?" I said.
"Of course I will," she said softly, "I thought I lost you once and that's not happening again. I want to be with you forever."
"We getting married now?" I joked and she blushed.
"I don't like you that much Amelia," she joked.
"Mhm sure," I chuckled. She plated dinner and I sat down next to her at the table.
"I'm so in love with you," she said, "and I'm glad after all these years we can finally be together."
"Me too," I smiled, "this proves we were meant for each other. And by the way, I love you more."The end <3
