Max's pov
"Jasper...?" David said.
"Davey what are you doing?!" Jasper asked. David seemed shocked.
"Why are you...what...huh?" I saw the opportunity and pushed myself off of David and ran to the boat immediately rowing as soon as I got in. Fucking hell...I take a deep breath and sigh. I'm still alive. I'm still alive you fucker. I kept on rowing until I got to camp. I jump out the boat and run to find everyone. Are they dead? They can't be. I'm not defeating David alone. I ran to the stage where Preston used to spend camp at. I look around. No one...shit. I sit on the stage and sigh. Did David kill them? That can't be true. I look at my feet...I never realised that I actually like everyone at camp...even if they were annoying sometimes. I close my eyes. I'm so tired...I just sit there until I feel myself get pushed onto my side. I groan and look at who the hell tackled me.
"MAX YOU'RE ALIVE!" Nerris yelled while hugging me. "WHEN WE SAW DAVID GO TO SPOOKY ISLAND WE THOUGHT YOU DIED!" I was about to push her off but then stopped. I thought they was dead as well. I look around and see Nurf and Ered smiling. I smile and hug Nerris back. It's nice...I don't feel scared for once! It's warm and comforting being hugged...After a short while me and Nerris stopped and looked around.
"We have a pretty awesome plan Max." Nurf said. I look around to him to show I was listening.
"So you see. We find the best weapons we can and just attack David non stop!" He said with excitement.
"He may be an adult but 4 kids will be able to stop him." Ered added. Holy shit that is a good plan! Especially since he's going to be more distraught with Jasper.
"Do you think it's good Max?" Nerris asked. I nodded. Hm where to get weapons? Oh! I know. I get up and indicated that I wanted everyone to follow me which they did. I lead them to the quartermasters store. He's been missing for a while before the murders...bit concerning but that's fine. I open the door and see weapons galore. We all gasped. Jeez there's so much stuff. I ran and saw a bat with nails that got screwed in. In quote of Ered: cool! Nerris grabbed a medium sized blade with a jade green tint.
"Oh! This must be an enchanted dagger!" She said in awe. Ered saw a crossbow and immediately grabbed it. Nurf took out his knife and chucked it as soon as he saw a butchers knife. I gave Ered the blunt pocket knife I found at the bomb shelter just in case the arrows weren't enough. I had one thought:
