Max's pov
David was here...oh no.
"I was looking for you!" He said while picking me up. I look at Ered, Nerris and Nurf.
"David why did Max say you were a murderer?" Nurf asked.
"Oh he must be a bit confused and scared! I saved him actually! He was locked up all by himself! Right Max?" I see Ered and Nerris look at each other for a moment then back.
"Ok David! We believe you!" Nerris said smiling. What? I feel David's grip on me tighten.
"Ok then! Me and Max need a nice friendly chat! One second please!" He said while carrying me to the councillors cabin.
"Ok listen here. You pull a stunt like that again and I'll rip your limbs off you one by one. Ok? So be nicer next time!" He said with an innocent yet twisted smile. I nod slowly.
"Good! Now you stay here while I talk to everyone else!" David said as he walked out. Fuck. I thought they believed me...guess not. But I'm fucked now. What do I do. I see Nerris walk in.
"Max I need to quickly tell you something!" I look at her.
"So we are just pretending to believe David! You seem to traumatised to make up something like that...so this is a better way to make a plan!" That's actually pretty smart...when did they get all clever? I nod trying to indicate that it was a good plan.
"Um...we need to find you a way to speak don't we." Nerris said with an awkward smile. I give a small smile back.
"You're ok to go back outside now. David's gone!" Nurf said. I walk out. Ered was writing down plans with Nurf. Hm...what do I do? I'm pretty much useless... I sit down and just watch everyone work. Jeez it's boring. I look over at my tent...used to be Neil's tent as well...I keep blaming myself for his death but I need to stop. It's not healthy. I keep thinking. What do I do? There's no way we can stop David without knowing some...reason why he killed everyone. Wait...I remember Neil saying we could ask Jasper why David was acting so weird before we found space kid! I stand up.
"Where are you going little dude?" Ered asked. I kept walking to the dock. I get in a boat and start rowing...heh...I remember when me Nikki and Neil first came to spooky island. I finally arrived and get out the boat. Here's one thing I didn't think of...how do I find Jasper when I can't call him? I wonder around looking for him. Oh it's pointless. I sit down leaning on a tree and close my eyes...I'm tired. Before I drift off I hear something.

"Yo? are you ok?"
