It was the first day of school, and Ashton was ready for everything that 7th grade could throw at her. All of the 7th graders were nervous about being in a new school, and the 8th graders were pushing us around in the halls, thinking that they're cool. "I really wish these halls were bigger. I mean, they aren't small, but with so many students, we could use some more room... HEY! WATCH IT! Holy frick." "Brianna, calm you're face! They don't know what they're doing and we don't either. Deal with it." Bri is a quiet girl, but once you get to know her, she can't shut up. Again, she starts to yell. "DUDE. OMG WATCH WERE YOU ARE PUTTING YOUR FEET." I sigh and think to myself she's never going to get over this.
As we continue to walk down the hall, more kids bump into us, more of my friends join our little group, and Brianna keeps screaming at almost everyone that touches her. "Geez. How am I supposed to get through this? I don't think I can act serious anymore with Brianna screaming at random people! Lacy said.
(These are the people that populate this group: Me, Brianna, Lacy, Ala, Maddie, McKayla, Alex, and Aalaya.)
"Hello ummm... Could you please tell me where room 457 is?" I asked. the teacher replied, "Over there," and she just lifted her hand in a general direction of the class room. "Ok... thanks?" I said with question. I turned to Brianna. " Can't some of the teachers be more enthusiastic about the new school year? With all of the new students and getting rid of the annoying ones from last year?" "I honestly don't care, so they can go be crusty croutons to their students that they have to deal with for the rest of the year. Not to us." Brianna replied. This continued for the rest of the day, because I had 5 out of 6 classes with her. Great. Just great. it's only the first day and the teachers are being jerks I thought.
