"Ashton wake up! ASHTON!" Should I pretend to be asleep, or "wake up" to the screaming voice of my mother? I decided to "wake up" before my mom literally exploded. "I'm up I'm up geez." I replied with annoyance. I'm happy that school doesn't start as early as the elementary school, but my body still didn't want to wake up this early because I was so used to the summer schedule- wake up when I want to and go to sleep when I want to.
My mom left the room, and about 10 minutes later I actually woke up. I got out of bed, got dressed, ate breakfast, and brushed my teeth.
I walked out of my room and down the long hall. When I turned into the kitchen I saw my cat, Ember, rolling on the floor. "What are you doing?" My cat replied to my question with a roll facing towards me and meowed.
"Ugh, I still have to go to school," I said. My mom walked into the room. "Too bad so sad."
We walked down the other hall and in to the laundry room, then into the garage.
We loaded ourselves into our Prius and drove to school. Once we got there, I got out of the car and slammed the door shut before my mom could scream, "HAVE A GREAT DAY HONEY!!!" I really wish she wouldn't do that I thought to myself.
