It had been a month since my sister got into the car crash. School still had to continue for me, and I couldn't stop thinking about outcomes of the crash. It turns out that her arm was broken, but everything was really okay. She was recovering fully, and all that she had to get rid of now was the bulky pink cast.
"So what have you been up to?" I curiously asked my sister. "Um, pretty much nothing. Just the normal things like going to work." she replied. My sister worked for a company called Greenville Palace, and she was a manager for a hotel. It was a very plain job, in my opinion.

My sister had already left my house, so again, it was only my mom and I. Of course to spend my time, I checked all of my social media, to include, Instagram, Kik, Snapchat, Vine, Tumblr, and Pinterest. That took up a good hour of my free time that I had as a 7th grader, almost 2 months into school. Then Monday came. I woke up to the familiar sound of my alarm clock and my mother. I dragged my sluggish body out of my warm, comfy bed and onto the fuzzy carpet floor of my bedroom.
I completed the usual tasks of the morning. My mother and I rushed out of the house so that I could get to school on time. But we both knew that I wasn't going to get to school before 9:15am, which was the time that my school's first bell rang. We oozed through the school zone, which I refer to as the slowest place on the planet. the school slowly put itself into my path of vision, and my stomach churned. School, ew I thought to myself as we were pulling into the parking lot. But again, the memory of my sister rolling into the hospital crossed my mind. What if it hadn't turned out as it had?
