Y/n's Perspective:
Questions swirled in my mind as I followed Lydia to an outdoor school bench adjacent to the cafeteria. Seated there was a girl, surrounded by five young men.
"Guys! Look who I have here!" Lydia exclaimed, her voice carrying towards the group. All heads turned in my direction, and I suddenly found myself the center of their collective gaze.
"Y/n, this is Malia, Liam, Mason, Corey, Stiles, and, of course, Scott."
"Hello!" they chorused in unison, their voices a welcoming harmony.I mustered a small smile, lifting my eyes from the ground. It was then that I locked gazes with one of the young men. His tousled brown hair and radiant hazel eyes sent butterflies fluttering inside me. Lydia grabbed my arm once more, leading me to take a seat.
The young man in the center extended a hand toward me.
"I'm Scott McCall," he declared, his handshake firm, accompanied by a warm smile. The next young man, who appeared younger than the others, also shook my hand.
"Liam Dunbar," he introduced himself with a friendly grin. Each member of the group followed suit, but as the girl prepared to shake my hand, I was met with the most piercing glare I had ever experienced.
"Sorry about Malia," Lydia offered as an explanation.
"Yeah, she has a tough time warming up to new people," the chestnut-haired young man with hazel eyes added, his voice sweet and sincere.I gazed at him, captivated by his warm and genuine demeanor. He, too, reached out his hand, and we shook.
"Stiles Stilinksi," he announced with a mischievous grin, which sent my stomach aflutter once more at the sight.
"Y/n y/l/n," I replied, this time without a trace of nervousness.Scott's gaze settled on me once more.
"Y/n, welcome to Beacon Hills!" he greeted with a warm smile. I returned his smile, feeling grateful to have made seven friends within the first hour of my arrival at this new school.Stiles' Perspective:
As Scott and I engaged in a discussion about which lacrosse team was likely to win the next match, Lydia's voice rang out, drawing our attention.
"Guys! Look who I have here!"We all turned to face Lydia, and beside her stood the most enchanting girl I had ever laid eyes on. Her hair, the color of y/h/c, glinted in the sunlight, and her eyes, y/e/c, shone with a captivating allure.
"Y/n, this is Malia, Liam, Mason, Corey, Stiles, and of course, Scott."A smile tugged at my lips as I simply admired her presence. She was nothing short of perfect.
"Hello!" we all chimed in unison, our voices offering a warm welcome. She lifted her gaze from the ground, and as our eyes met, it felt as though time stood still. Her eyes shimmered in the golden sunlight, and an entire swarm of butterflies took flight in my stomach. The entire pack took turns shaking her hand, but when it came to Malia, things took a different turn. Instead of a handshake, she subjected y/n to an intense stare.
"Sorry about Malia," Lydia quickly interjected, offering an explanation.
"Yeah, she has a hard time warming up to new people," I added, striving to sound as sweet and friendly as possible. Her gaze returned to me as I extended my hand, introducing myself with a beaming smile.
"Stiles Stilinksi," I declared, maintaining a grin that could rival the Cheshire Cat.
"Y/n y/l/n," she replied with a sweet voice, and once again, those butterflies returned, fluttering within me as quickly as they had during our initial encounter.word count: 606
