Stiles's Perspective:

We sat there, locked in a gaze that seemed to stretch on for an eternity when our connection was abruptly severed by the intrusive school bell, signaling the start of our next class.
"Y/n, what's your next class?" Lydia inquired."I have chemistry," she replied after a quick glance at her schedule.
"Alright, you're in all of Stiles's classes, so just follow him. I have history, so we'll meet later," Lydia directed before heading towards the door.Y/n in all of my classes? Well, today's turning out to be quite lucky, isn't it? I mused internally.
I rose from my seat and gestured for y/n to accompany me. She stood up, offering me a sweet smile as she quickly closed the gap between us.
"So, Stiles Stilinski, huh? That's certainly an unusual name," she commented, looking me directly in the eyes without hesitation.
"Oh, yeah, I guess it is," I replied, not particularly eager to divulge my real name. Our eye contact lingered just a tad too long before we both averted our gazes to our feet, the awkwardness palpable.

Y/n's Perspective:

Stiles led me into a classroom that was already partially filled and indicated a seat for me. I took my place, and he settled in the seat in front of me, close enough for me to catch a whiff of his scent. He exuded the fragrance of a mint mojito, with hints of oil and a subtle citrus note. It was the most enchanting scent I had ever encountered.
As the class progressed, my confusion deepened. The topic revolved around equilibrium and achieving a tranquil state of mind. Stiles appeared to have a partial grasp of the subject, his highlighter cap between his teeth as he periodically glanced back at me. Meanwhile, I sat there, wearing a perplexed expression akin to a giant question mark.
"How are you doing?" he whispered, while the teacher continued expounding on how "equilibrium" stemmed from the Latin "libra," signifying "weight" or "balance."
"I've never been this confused in my entire life," I confessed. Stiles responded with a sweet smile and an offer.
"You know, I wouldn't mind tutoring you. You can come over to my place at 9 if you want to study."My heart skipped a beat. The age-old adage about studying at someone's house often leading to other activities crossed my mind, and the notion of kissing Stiles in his room slowly faded. I understood that he probably didn't see me in that light. For all I knew, he could have a girlfriend. After all, I was just "the new girl," right?
"Sure, I'll be at your place at 9," I agreed.
