"Look at her! She's beautiful!" Slash said as the doctors placed the baby girl on Meegan's chest. "She's beautiful," Meegan said. "Hey, Zoie," Slash said stroking the baby's black hair.
The doctors escorted them to another room. Slash sat beside Meegan holding Zoie in his arms. He's never felt this way before. A new love entered his heart. A love one could only feel for their child.
Zoie looked at her father with the big blue eyes that all babies hold. Slash began to cry. That was his daughter. His child! A human he helped to create. A human he loved with all his heart.
Meegan touched Slash's face and he looked at her. "Meegan, she's perfect," Slash said curling up with Zoie close to his body. Slash buried his face in Meegan's shoulder. Meegan smiled and rubbed Slash's back. "I love you, Meegan. I love you so much," Slash said.
