Xiumin couldn't expressed his shock after seeing Leslie despite all those efforts he made to find her. Xiumin knew clearly how much hurt he had caused her because of his mother. Leslie had dated Xiumin back then before his left home. Because his mother didn't want someone of a poor background to date Xiumin. She tried ways and means to break them up, and eventually, they did.
" Xiumin how have you been doing? " Leslie broke the awkward silence that has been holding there. " Oh. Erm... I'm fine. What about you? " Xiumin replied her after realising he had been staring at her for quite a moment already. Out of a sudden, Leslie hugged Xiumin, sobbing. Xiumin was shocked, again. " What-what are you doing?! " Xiumin blurted out of shock. " Just let me hold you for a moment. Just for a moment. " Xiumin then sat there quietly, waiting for Leslie to stop her tears. He then asked " What happened? " Leslie looked up at him, dried her tears and calmed down. "After I left you, I wanted to stop myself from thinking of you. I started drinking heavily. But- but one time-" her tears started pouring again. " If you don't feel comfortable here, do you want to talk inside my house instead? I moved out, so don't worry about her .
They reached Xiumin's house, not far away from So Jin's. " Now we can talk here. Tell me what happened, so that i can help you. " Xiumin wanted Leslie to feel comfortable. " I was raped. " Leslie said it out bravely before breaking down into tears again. She cried and cried. Xiumin then understand why she hated his mom so much.
Xiumin let Leslie rest on his shoulders, and him hugging and patting her to calm her down. They look so intimate. They dated before years way back. Xiumin felt so bad towards her. " Now that, you're back, do you have anywhere to stay? " Xiumin asked in hope that he can help her with something. She wiped off her tears and replied Xiumin. " No. I didn't have time to find. " " Stay here then. " Xiumin offered. Leslie agreed to it since they knew each other and had such a close relationship.
Leslie POV
I didn't expect him to ask me to stay at his house, but I didn't care. I just want to get as close to him as possible. I want him back. If not for his mother back then, we would already be married by now. I don't have to look so pathetic here trying to win him back. For I know, he already have someone beside him now.
I felt everything around him so comfortable. I laid down at the room he offered to let me stay in. Wondering about how I should win him back. I then remember his current girl. She was such simple and kind. I should start from her...
Narrator
Leslie then went to look for So Jin. Surprisingly, she knew everything about this girl and Xiumin. She seemed to have investigated on Xiumin and So Jin. She knew them like the back of her hand. Leslie knocked on the door upon reaching the main door of So Jin's rented house. So Jin's landlord answered the door. " Looking for? " the landlord asked, sounding very annoyed. " Is So Jin in? " Leslie asked. The landlord said no and slammed the door closed. But Leslie knew she was in for her shoes were still outside. " You're lucky today. I just changed my plans. " Leslie whispered upon seeing those shoes.
Leslie then went back to Xiumin's place. Looks like Leslie isn't someone simple...
