Technoblade joined their training, mostly correcting George's position and telling Dream that he's terrible at correcting George some basic poses. "Hey! Don't get mad at me! This is my first time teaching someone unlike you!" Dream argued with Techno "Well that doesn't really matter because you were my first student and I was able to correct all your weird poses!" Techno argued back. They argued for a while, George trying to stop them, until they heard someone calling for Technoblade. "Techno!! Phil is calling you!" a blonde male came from the forest. He looked at Techno then Dream then George with a confused face. "Who are you? Are you perhaps...Dream's boyfriend!" The blonde said pointing at George "He's not my boyfriend, Tommy!" Dream said, blushing a little. "Hmm...then why are you blushing?" Tommy smirked "Ok stop you two." Technoblade sighed "Anyways, Tommy, what does Philza want from me?" Tommy and Techno both walked away.
"Dream, what does boyfriend mean?" George asked, looking at a surprised Dream. "Y-you don't know what a boyfriend is?!" "Well...I don't really know anything except royalty stuff." George told Dream calmly "W-wait...what is your daily routine in the castle?" Dream asked "hmm...well...I wake up by a maid calling me for breakfast, eat breakfast by myself, go to the small library since it's the only library that I can go, read books about a princess getting captured by a witch and saved by a prince, thinking about escaping the castle then immediately giving up making it only a wish, have dinner with my father, think about killing myself on my sleep most of the time. Oh! and also I have 3 guards watching my every move until I go to sleep." George explained as he sat down on the grass. "Have you tried punching the guards or something?" Dream sat down with George. "Yeah...but that makes my day worse." "Why?" "If I hurt the guard I would be locked up in my room for the rest of the day." "Oh..." Dream felt sad for George but then a question filled his head.
"George, remember when I left you in the cave alone?" "Yeah.." George responded. "Why didn't you escape when I left you?" George was taken back a little by the question but answered anyway. "Well...where would I go when I leave that cave? I had no idea how to survive by myself and...If I ever escape you'll probably catch me." "George...do you...give up...easily?" Dream was hesitant in asking the question. "Most of the time. Nothing really matters to me other than being free."
A few days had gone by, George would sometimes join Dream in his missions. One day, they were eating dinner in silence until George asked a random question. "What were you like when you were a kid?" Dream thought for a second. "Well..." Dream strayed off in a sentence. " I usually was pretty stupid...ignorant...and didn't really know any better...but..." Dream said, trying to answer George's question. "...I was pretty much a happy-go-lucky, and a carefree child...i usually did what i wanted without limitations as long as what i did, didn't harm anyone...i could basically go anywhere i wanted, eat when i wanted to, and things like that...'' He said, looking almost nostalgic when he was reminiscing about his own past. Dream stared down at his own food and sighed. "Hopefully, soon, I'll get to experience that freedom once more, and maybe even experience something like that with someone else as well..." He tried to say with a little optimism. " I think I get what you mean...I really envy that you got to experience freedom as a child, while I just get to be stuck in a castle the whole time, since I was 5, barely doing anything I wanted..." George said, with a little sadness. "But I have you, right?" He looked at Dream with hopeful eyes. Dream blushed, taken aback by George's statement. "I mean...you technically helped me out of that castle" George giggled a little. Dream nodded at this. "Also what do you mean by 'hopefully soon'. Is there something that happened that made you like this? A hunter?" George asked curiously. Dream looked like he was about to cry when he asked that question. "L-let's not...t-talk about that..."Even if George was very curious he prey no longer as he didn't want to force Dream in anything.
After eating, George washed the dishes while Dream went to their bedroom. Dream sat down on the bed, bringing out a locket that was hanging around his neck. It had a picture of people, including him, smiling. "One day...I will get my revenge. I will show him how they felt." Dream gritted his teeth. Anger and sadness was all he could feel. Tears rolled down his eyes the more he looked at the picture in the locket. "Dream? Are you okay?" George was concerned as he went beside Dream and hugged him. "It's okay. Everything will be okay..." George comforted Dream which seemed to work. "Do you want to sleep and cuddle together?" George asked, looking at Dream. "We always do that George." Dream chuckled, smiling a little. "But yeah, I want to cuddle with you." Dream embraced George smelling his scent and fell asleep.
Dream saw darkness around him. He looked at his hands. It was covered in blood and was smaller than he remembered. He looked around again seeing a child about to get stabbed in front of him. His eyes widened and his body trembled. He tried to reach out and try to save the kid, but he was too late and the child died. Tears fell down his eyes as he saw two more people beside him. Both of them are holding each other's hands together but they're completely dead. The person who stabbed the kid held his sword high about to kill him. He shut his eyes tightly until....
