The Past

Reunion

The voice got closer, and Naruto's curiosity was at its peak. Reaching a nearby river, he turned to see his son tied up to a tree. Bolt looked exhausted, and was covered in scars and dried blood. Naruto carefully untied the ropes, and wincing as his son yelped in pain from moving.
" I won't ever forgive that black zetsu for what he's done!" Naruto stated, anger rising.
" Dad...you came.." Boruto managed to say, barely above a whisper.
" I promised I'd save you, didn't I? What type of dad would I be if I didn't follow through on my promises?" Naruto replied, petting his son's head.

Meanwhile, Sasuke and the black Zetsu were still fighting, with no damage inflicted on either side. None of Sasuke's jutsu seemed to have any effect on the Zetsu, so all he could do was use Taijutsu and his sword. The Zetsu has copied many strong jutsus, and is very resilient and is a tough match for Sasuke.
Sasuke charges once again at the black Zetsu with his sword, which was charged with his chidori. As the sky overhead started turning grey, and the drops of water began falling to the ground. The crashing sound of thunder, accompanied by the lighting create the perfect environment for Sasuke's 'special jutsu'. Holding his sword up to the sky, he shot his Chidori into the dark grey sky. The crackling of lightning filled the air as an large amount of lighting gathered in one place.
" It's over for you now" Sasuke stated with a smirk on his face. " KIRIN!"
At that moment a large burst of lightning shot down from the clouds, and hit the Black zetsu. The Zetsu shouted out in pain, and fell to his knees.
" This is far from over, Sasuke Uchiha." The Zetsu said, standing to his feet.
Sasuke's eyes widened in shock, " How did you survive that jutsu?! It's too powerful to be stopped or absorbed!" he said, in disbelief of what happened.
" Did you already forget that I am a son of Kaguya? Weak jutsus like that would never harm me." he said, his injuries already healed, sank into the ground.
" Where do you think you're going, freak?!" Sasuke yelled, running towards the spot where the black Zetsu once stood.
Where is he trying to go? He wouldn't dare! Would he...? Sasuke wondered to himself, running into the thick forest.

With Boruto on his back, Naruto decided to check up on Sasuke's fight.
" I wonder if Sasuke has wrapped things up over there" Naruto said, walking to the barren area where Sasuke was fighting. The dark grey sky that loomed overhead started fading into a dark blue as the clouds disappeared. The blonde jumped back when he noticed a lump come out from the ground. He examined the figure only to realize that it was the black zetsu.
" Sasuke, what happened?!" Naruto said, dodging Zetsu's attacks.
Damn it... with Bolt on my back, I can't use Taijutsu. I can't use my normal jutsu because of his jutsu, so what do I do?!
