it was just a familiar face

Moving Forward

After I get home I try and remember what was so
familiar about Karl, nothing was coming to mind and it was making me pissed.

I then remember the paper note he slipped in my bag, I pulled it out and it had his number. I quickly dialed the number into my phone but no answer, I get let down.

Maybe it was just a fake number

He probably tricked me

I hear it, I scramble everything and race for the phone.

There it is..Karl

"Hey y/n! I'm so so so sorry couldn't answer the phone, I feel like a total jerk" Karl says

"Hey Karl! Please don't feel bad, it's not that big of a deal" I say

I keep thinking why the fuck did I say "it's not that big of a deal" when I know it's a big deal. He's the cutest boy i've ever met and I can't throw all of it out the damn window.

"Hey y/n...I was wondering if you'd like to go out" Karl says with a shake in his voice

I was scared and was over the top exited, I didn't know what to say.

"Y/n? Umh...oh, you there?" Karl sounds sad as if I said no, but I just didn't know what to say.

"Oh my, i'm so sorry, I- Um, Yes of course I would!"

I didn't want to sound pathetic and too excited, but inside I was freaking out. This was the happiest I have been in forever.

"Great!" Karl exclaims,

"How about tomorrow at 6:20 ish? If that sounds good to you?" Karl said

"Perfect, sounds great." I say

"Well then see you tomorrow y/n. Bye!"

"Bye Karl!" I say

I WAS SCREAMING OVER THE TOP ECSTATIC. I could not wait for tomorrow, but then I realize Karl never tells me where we are going, maybe he just forgot to. That was not the point, I was more than happy to go out with Karl tomorrow and could not wait another second.

Small things where going through my mind like,
What should I wear tomorrow
I don't want to look like trash
I have to look perfect to get anywhere close to look like I could go out with Karl.

After all my stressing over the date, luckily I fell asleep. I hadn't gotten much sleep but I couldn't think of that. Just the date.

holy honk, yes i know it is REALLY boring and plain at the moment BUT i am really trying to get some more juice into it all. also! i'm dearly sorry for the chapters being as short as they are, i am trying to make them progressively longer as i go, there just isnt much to explain in the first few
