Luna's POV

School was almost over and Billie was nowhere to be found.

Neither was Chanel.

Is it ignore your best friends day or something?

"Matt, can I get a ride home?"

"Sorry babes, I've got man candy coming home with me." He said as he fixed his eyeliner in the mirror of his locker.

For fucks sake.

I can't walk home, do you know how long that would take?

"Alex?" I asked.

"I would but I don't really want to."

Fine.

"Ash?"

"Girl I take the fucking bus, don't look at me like I got cash." She said, making me chuckle.

I guess I'm walking home.

"Alright, I'll see you guys tomorrow."

"Bye babes." Matt hugged me.

"Get home safe." Alex smiled.

"You too."

I left the school and plugged in my headphone's for the long walk home.

"Why is this song still in my fucking playlist-" I mumbled, deleting 'Are You Bored Yet' by Wallows.

I started walking down the sidewalk, taking glances at the cherry blossom tree's near us.

They're so beautiful this time of year.

I was about 30 minutes into walking when I noticed a car slowly driving behind me.

STRANGER DANGER.

I could just be paranoid but just to be safe, I knelt down to pretend to be tying my shoes just to see if the car would stop.

It did.

I stood back up and continued walking like nothing was wrong.

While doing so, I took out my phone and proceeded to call the police.

"911, what's your emergency?"

"Hi, um... I think I- I'm being followed. I'm not sure, it could've been a coincidence but can you send someone over just to be sure? I'm on 498 westward street in front of the park."

"Ma'am we cannot send anyone over if there's no real emergency. If you think they are following you, simply take a shortcut or go to the nearest adult but please don't waste our time."

"Wait-" Before I could continue speaking, she hung up.

Some reliable government we have, huh?

I looked behind me and realized the car door was open but no one was inside.

That's strange-

Suddenly, a white cloth went over my nose and mouth as an arm went around my neck.

I couldn't breathe.

I tried screaming but it was completely muffled.

Any resistance was pointless.

I was starting to feel sleepy.

Very, very sleepy.

My eyes shut and my body fell weak.

Everything had gone black.
