Bakugo was casually looking around for Kirishima, knowing that he probably was in the entrance about to go out from UA. The blond had gone to do some stuff Aisawa asked him for when the classes were over so he couldn't go immediately with him, he was thinking about asking Kirishima to spar with him after eating since he was bored and the redhead seemed to improve whenever they fought. Also, Bakugo had noticed some sort of strange behavior on the redhead. Not that he knew much about how this friendship thing works. Katsuki had no idea what was truly going on and sometimes he didn't noticed much changing so he didn't thought about it that much. Bakugo had his hands on his pockets as the hot wind of the summer brushed his face making his cheeks blush very slightly from the heat. He quickly spotted some spiky red hair near the gates and raised a hand "Shitty Hair!" Katsuki yelled in his usual raspy and deep voice as he watched him. "Oh hey Bakubro." The sun was shining as bright as his redhead friend, he didn't stopped even if he had made it to his side "we're going to eat, my treat" Bakugo said, not waiting for him and walking out of the campus going downtown to some little restaurant they often visited that had, as Bakugo would say 'decent food. The blond walked with his friend, glancing at him everyone and mumbling answers about the stuff Kirishima was talking about and when they arrived Bakugo sat down on his usual table. "Dunce Face told me today he has a girlfriend, in front of earphone girl and I think he was just trying to make her jealous or something" Bakugo spoke casually, huffing "I mean, what's the big deal about having a partner? I don't get it, it's stupid. It's like having to depend on them for your own happiness" Bakugo groaned out, speaking freely to Kirishima since he obviously felt comfortable with him. He started rambling about how stupid it was until the waiter came to take their order.
Kiri had been feeling strange for a while now, it was a pain in his chest and throat and it was always stronger around Bakugo for some reason. He had known about a disease called the Hanahaki disease, Kaminari had taught him about it but from the way it sounded he just saw it as a complete joke and totally unrealistic. I mean, a person coughing up flowers and possibly dying from it? It sounded so fake and made up. Anyway, when Kiri saw Bakugo coming towards him earlier he started to feel like his lungs were smaller than they already were and a rough scratch in his throat. He followed him to the small restaurant that Bakugo though had food that was 'decent' and he sat down with him at his usual table as he started chatting and rambling about how he basically found relationships pointless and useless to have. Kirishima being his usual self just decided to go along with Bakugo even though he had a huge crush on him and wanted nothing more than to date him. "Yeah, right... it's just depending on someone else, totally..." he said, soon roughly trying to clear his throat. That scratch in his throat getting more and more annoying and intense.
Bakugo had relaxed a bit on his rambling about all of the relationship topic, noticing how his redhead friend often cleared his throat and coughed very slightly looking troubled. Bakugo arched his brow and continued to try and decide what to he eat, asking the waiter for his recommendations and the ingredients since he was a very special costumer. Katsuki's eyes were narrowed to the redhead each time he kind of interrupted him with his coughs, fighting himself to ask him what the fuck was going on until he got up from his seat. Kirishima continued trying to clear his throat, constantly taking some deep breaths whenever possible but seeing as the constant clearing of his throat was obviously starting to bother Bakugo, he got up from his seat. "I'll be right back, Bakugo. I think something's caught in my throat. I'm gonna try and get it out." Bakugo nodded and watched him until he got out of his sight, entering to the bathroom and thinking what was going on.
There were only about three or four other guys in there so Eijiro walked into a stall and sat down clearing his throat again. The more he cleared his throat, he started to feel something coming up. It wasn't a secret that Bakugo cared about Kirishima but it still confused him sometimes, he was also confused with himself though he completely enjoyed having him around. He was the only dumbass he truly wanted in his life and it was starting to bother him not knowing what was this thing that has been happening lately with the redhead. Eventually, Eijiro coughed holding his hands out in front of his mouth and to his complete shock he looked in his hands seeing... A flower petal?! Eijiro quickly ran out to Bakugo. "Sorry, Bakubro! I just remembered I-I've got something to do in my dorm, I'm sorry!" Soon coughing again as he ran out of the restaurant.
Katsuki shook those weird thoughts out of his head and continued to read the menu, asking for a lemonade and just when he was about to order he saw Kiri running out of the bathroom and telling him that lame excuse. Bakugo's jaw dropped, quite surprised when he left the restaurant. "He had never done this to me" he said out loud, feeling hurt for a moment and frustrated since he really didn't know how to ask him if he was okay or something. Then, that feeling on his chest turned to anger. Why did Kirishima left him like that? He was the only one that hung around him willingly and the only one Bakugo wants around, was he changing his mind now? Did he wanted to stop being friends with him? If that was the case, then... then he shall leave! Bakugo clenched his teeth, he doesn't need anybody. If Kirishima wants to leave him, then he can. Bakugo doesn't care, at all. The blond groaned lowly and stood up, going out of the restaurant as well. He went to some box club and fought getting that anger out on the rest.
Kirishima was sprinting back to the UA dorms as fast as possible coughing the whole way back. When he finally got to the dorm building, he ran in seeing almost everyone in the common area, a few of them looking confused. Kirishima looked around a bit panicked as he panted heavily and coughed a few more times. Mina started to approach him with a concerned look on her face. "Kiri? Kiri what's wrong? Aren't you supposed to be hanging out with Bakugo right now?" She said gently but he didn't respond, he just paused for a moment to try and catch his breath and he ran to the elevator. While waiting for the elevator, Kirishima coughed up another couple of petals and once the elevator reached his floor, he booked it to his room leaving the flower petals on the floor of the elevator. Once in his dorm, he slammed the door shut and ran into his bathroom looking at himself as he painted heavily. "This isn't happening! this isn't happening! That thing is just a myth, it's not real, it's not! This isn't h-happen-" Kirishima started coughing once again, dropping two more flower petals into his sink and a few drops of blood making his eyes go wide. "Th-This I-isn't happening..." he said to himself as he heard a knock on his door and he jumped soon hearing Shoji's voice on the other side of the door. "Kirishima? Is everything alright? I heard you ran into your dorm and start coughing, are you hurt?" He asked kindly and Kirishima quickly wiped off his mouth and walked to his door opening it, his breathing still staggered. "No, no I'm fine. Everything is fine, sorry I worried you. I... I just need some sleep, had a hard day of learning today and I can't wait to get some sleep." He faked that usual toothy smile he had and Shoji nodded his head and walked off trusting him. Kirishima closed his door locking it and took his tie off, clearing his throat and he flopped down onto his bed. "This is so not good. I can't tell anyone about this. I can't let them know I.. I have to hide this somehow."
Bakugo spent the whole afternoon fighting against weak opponents, not holding back one bit and winning over and over again each match though for some reason the way it felt to win wasn't compared to other times. It was like even if he tried to shake his doubtful and angry thoughts about Kirishima, fighting and doing what he most loved that was win didn't worked. Even after hours of sweating, punching and receiving some firm hits from his opponents it still was in his mind. That feeling of... emptiness. Still, Bakugo kept punching and winning until it was night and found a way to forget the incident earlier. His own pride and superiority complex gained over his thoughts, convincing himself that he didn't needed anyone else other than himself. The blond ran at a quick pace back to the dorms and took a different way to get later there, his legs throbbed in a slight pain for the exercise and even so Bakugo didn't cared. When he got to the dorms, he found a lot of people on the common area. Multiple pairs of eyes fell on him with worried looks that made Bakugo furrow his brows more while wiping his sweat off his face. "What?" Bakugo asked in an angry tone. "What did you do to Kirishima?" Todoroki asked, deadly serious. Everyone looked at Bakugo with serious expressions, being sure that he was the cause of the problems of their red sun. "What the fuck fo you mean? He fucking left before we ate" Kat said, clenching his teeth and looking at everyone menacing "he left you there? That doesn't sound like something Kiri would do" Mina said, crossing her arms. "Do you think I fucking care? The bastard is the one who loses here" Bakugo groaned and turned his back on. "Please talk to him, Kacchan! He doesn't feels well!" Deku yelled. "Apparently he doesn't give a shit about what I think so you go and ask him yourself" Bakugo groaned, everyone opened their eyes widely as they saw him get into the elevator. "He's hurt" Yaouyorozy said, gulping and everyone nodded.
"But Kiri's not ok..."
