I arrived at the school with my dad's loud truck I always hated how it sounded and I was always embarrassed. I walked up two flights of stairs and into the school as I walked into the gym I sat down alone by myself because I didnt like people. I went to different tables because we had to it took maybe half of the day and then went to class. I had physics with mrs. Beam where we were allowed to pick our seats I sat in the back like I always did it was an easy day I had gym for my next hour which I loved 3rd math 4th English 5th history 6th choir because my parents made me 7th asp which I never do anything because I had all a's and it was the most stupid class. There was a blonde haired boy that was really tan and he was about 6 feet with brown eyes but he never talked to anyone except his friends a few months went by I was sitting dow in physics class and this blonde kid pulled the chair that I was sitting on and I fell on the floor because i was super light everyone started laughing at me then the bell rang I got up and ran down stairs consitraiting so I wouldn't fall again and I see the blonde boy following me in the corner of my eye I could feel him watching me. I'm in the gym heading towards the locker room so I can change into my grey jacket and leggings with white tennis shoes

we started to warm up the blonde boy and his friends try to cut me off so I could trip but I was faster than everyone there we played Calvinball everyone wanted me on their team because I was fast and really good at every sport (calvinball was a mixture between baseball and kickball). I go to lunch with my friends Bre, Taylor, Logan, and Christain then the blond kid and his friends come over and sits with us I dont say anything because I'm reading a book. The tan boy takes my book I looked at him with my hazel eyes into his soul and said keep it you'll probably learn something a second before the bell rang I was gone
Ian's POV- I've been watching this blonde girl for month coming in with bruises all over her and I don't know how to talk to her because she always runs away from me maybe it started when I pulled the chair but I didn't know she was going to be that light I was going to help her back up but she had tears in her eyes and there were a lot of bruises on her I followed her to gym class but she was really fast I changed into my black shorts and my dark blue shirt everyone was talking about what happened to the blonde girl from class that guy is probably a dick anyway. I got done changing and went to the mirror and fixed my hair and I thought to myself is it someone from school or is it someone from home that's beating her up? "Hey Ian" Nic calls me "are you coming or what" "I'll be there in a minute" I yell I dont know I'll keep a close eye on her though. I walk out of the locker room and see the cute blonde girl wearing leggings and a grey jacket I was surprised I walked over to Josh and Nic "Hey did you guys know she played any sports" I asked "Who the blonde girl you've been eyeballing at for months" Nic said "Yeah wait what did you say" I responded Nic and Josh high five each other while laughing "Yeah she plays a lot of sports" Josh said "Yeah it's crazy shes a flyer in cheer and the ace in volleyball shes a south paw in tennis" Nic says "Wow no wonder why she has bruises all over her body" I said out loud "Bruises she doesn't get bruises" Nic said "Yeah bro look" Josh shows me a video. We start to warm up I try to catch up to the blonde girl but she is like the road runner and I'm the coyote trying to catch up to her we get to lunch and she's sitting at the table with her friends the boys and I walk up to the table and we sit down I'm watching the girl while shes reading I look at the cover of the book and I realize what book she is reading it's about a girl put in foster care and nobody wants to adopt her and she gets abused in the system
