Today was definitely full of bad luck for Langa.
He had been busy the other day preparing for an upcoming test that he had forgotten to do his Biology assignment. The teacher was mad at him and gave him detention. This damn teacher..
But that wasn't the end of it. The bluenette had even slept off in a class so now he had more notes to complete and extra homework.
Hopefully this horrid day doesn't get any worse. Only a cup of coffee could cheer him up.
He was wandering around a new neighbourhood when he came upon an average sized cafe. It was named "Creamy Latte".
"Sounds promising. I need some coffee anyways so why not."
He gently pushed open the glass door making the little bell chime above him, indicating that there was a new customer. The redhead waiter had looked up and saw someone walking up to him. He smiled at the sight of him and greeted him happily.
"Good morning sir! Is there anything you would like to order?", the redhead, reki as his name tag says, asked him.
"He's kinda cute.."
"Ah..uhm yes..I would like some coffee please..", Langa responded softly.
"Ah yes, would that be To-go or Dine-in sir?", Reki questioned the bluenette. "To-go please."
"Would you like your coffee sweet or bitter?", the redhead popped up another question.
"As sweet as you..", Langa muttered under his breath unconsciously.
"Hm? Pardon but I didn't hear what you said.", the redhead said snapping Langa out of his thoughts. "I would like my coffee sweet."
"Alrightly! Name for the order?"
"Langa."
"Okay coming right up sir! Please make yourself comfortable at the tables." Langa did as told and took a seat.
Reki quickly wrote his name on the newly taken cup and got to work. He had made the coffee with precision and decided to add a little bonus of caramel to sweeten up the drink.
He then placed the lid on top of the cup and slipped the coffee holder on it. He didn't serve it yet, not until he wrote a small note on it.
Langa had been watching Reki making his coffee intently and noticed him scribbling something on the cup. He decided to let it be and check on it later.
"One sweet coffee for Langa, ready to go.", Reki said with a bright smile handing him the cup of coffee.
"Thank you..", Langa said grabbing the coffee cup. He looked at the other's name tag. "..Reki.."
He added with a smile of his own. The redhead smiled even more brighter than before this time.
Langa was going to walk out of the cafe but then decided to look at what Reki had written on his cup. He slowly took out the warm holder and surely enough there was writing.
It said in messy black writing:

Hey Langa!! I think you're pretty nice! What do you say about hanging out sometimes? Text me if you want -XXX-XXXX-XXXX-
I will be waiting <3

Langa smiled softly and turned to look at Reki. Reki noticed him staring and just winked. He then made a gesture to text him back. In return, Langa gently nodded his head before leaving and taking a sip of his sweetened coffee.
He had later realized that he had received a dash of caramel drizzle, one of his absolute favourite additions. He smiled heartily once again thinking back to the cute waiter he had met earlier.
"Maybe today wasn't totally an unlucky day for me."
