KAT AND ELEVEN SAT QUIETLY IN THEIR FORT.

They were waiting for Mike silently, not knowing what to say to each other. This experience was new to both of them. No matter how much training Papa put her through, Katrine wasn't prepared to be hiding in her old best friend's house with another test subject.

Eleven was playing with Mike's Supercomm, while Kat was twirling her short, blonde hair around her finger. Both of their heads snapped up when they heard the sound of footsteps coming down the stairs. Eleven tensed beside Katrine, grabbing onto her arm in the fear that it was the bad men.

However, they both relaxed when Mike lifted the blanket that set them apart from the rest of the room.

"Hey, you found my Supercomm." He said cheerfully, sending bright smiles toward both girls. "It's pretty cool huh? I talk to my friends about it. Mostly Lucas because he lives so close. Signals pretty weak." He added, earning a small smile from Kat and a blank look from El. "Kat, you used to have one too."

"I did?" She asked. Mike furrowed his eyebrows at the girl, she used to love her Supercomm, she said it made her feel like a spy on a super important mission to save the world.

"Yeah, we used to talk to them every day. Do you not remember?" He questioned, making the girl shake her head quickly. "It was around five years ago though before you disappeared." He added gloomily.

Katrine disappearing was still a sensitive topic for him, seen as they were best friends when it happened. Everyone thought that she had run off, just like Will. But Mike knew that wasn't what really happened.

But then, they found her body in the water. And that day was the worst day of Michael Wheeler's life.

Mike shoved those thoughts away, digging into his coat pocket and taking out two Eggos for the girls. "I got you breakfast." He said handing the food to the duo.

Katrine took it from him saying a quiet, "Thank you.", prompting Eleven to do the same. They both bit into the food, making El's eyes widen with joy and a smile graced Kat's features.

"So listen, this is gonna sound a little weird, but I just need you to go up there," Mike explained, pointing to the window. Eleven kept eating, while Katrine stared at Mike in confusion. "Then go to the front door, and then ring the doorbell. My Mom will answer and you'll tell her that you lost and you need help, but whatever you do you can't tell her about last night or that you know me. Well, I guess you can say that Kat, but not El." Mike added, catching the attention of the other girl. "Understand?"

"That's a lot of information," Katrine said, looking down and laughing quietly, unknowingly putting a bigger smile on Mike's face.

"Really, it's no big deal. El and I will just pretend to meet each other again." He explained, glancing between both girls. "And my Mom, she'll know who to call. I could probably call Helena for Kat, but for you, I don't know." Mike stated, talking directly to Eleven as Katrine was now eating her breakfast again.

"No." She simply replied, causing Kat to stop eating and look at the two.

"No?" Mike repeated, confused by the girl's words.

She shook her head and then repeated the same words, "No."

"No, you don't want my Mom to get help?" He asked, turning to Katrine in the hopes of finding answers but she had her head tilted down, not wanting to talk.

Eleven shook her head again before Mike questioned, "You're both in trouble, aren't you?" But this time it was Kat's turn to answer, she nodded her head slightly creating more questions that the Wheeler boy desperately wanted answers to.
