First person POV:
________ ________ ________ _______I heard two 'bye's before hearing the door slam.
"Y/n needs to be careful. It seems like the obsession with y/p that Laura has isn't healthy..." I heard Luna's voice say.
"Oh, so you did realize it?"
"Of course I did. I literally said that I'd tap your thigh twice for every red flag." Responded Luna.
"You tapped my leg over 20 times. That's over 20 red flags."
"Should we tell y/p?" Asked Luna.
"But the real question is, would y/p believe us?"
A little silence fell after that. Just the tapping of the rain outside, my soft breathing, and my thoughts.
'What did they mean? I know that I was always oblivious but how did I not notice an obsession?' I leaned on the counter.
All I heard was the rain until I heard light footsteps from both Luna and Sakura entering the kitchen I was in.
"Hey Y/n, if we told you something about Laura...would you believe us and not think that we were jealous?" Sakura asked. This was the first time I'd ever heard Sakura's voice in a soft state. It would always boom through your ears and make them ring for a minute or two before that happening again.
"Yes, why?"
"Well..." Sakura started.
"Laura has an unhealthy obsession with you. She gets irritated now knowing that we're all closer than she thought. And us coming into your house especially made her blood boil. How did you not notice her grip on the wheel tighten every time we said something?" Luna ended it for Sakura.
"...do you want me to distance myself from her?" I asked.
I didn't know what else to say.
I facepalmed and laughed at myself. "Man Y/n...I knew you were oblivious...but this is something else." I moved my hand up into my hair and scratched softly.
A habit I developed growing up while rethinking things.
I sighed. I didn't know what else to say. I didn't even know what to think. What are you supposed to think when you hear of something like this?
"I mean...you don't have to, it's up to you, but we recommend that you do." Said Sakura.
"I'll wait a little longer. Maybe she was deep in thought and got irritated?" I was trying to distract myself from what the actual possibility could be.
Sakura and Luna didn't say anything. They just sighed.
"Well, that's your choice. We can't do anything about your decision, we're not gonna push you to something you don't wanna do." This was one of the few times I'd heard Sakura's voice go soft. Which meant she actually cared.
We went silent and Luna tried to change the topic.
"Did you hear that we're coincidentally getting a few new students in our class tomorrow? They're somehow all girls..."
"Oh yeah, weren't two of them sisters? One of them the age of us and another the age of Laura? Then the other two are like, best friends who travel wherever together, same age as Laura?" Asked Sakura.
"Yeah, even though we're halfway into our first semester, people seem to still be enrolling to our school. I wonder why." Responded Luna.
"I think it's 'cause two of the nearby schools burned down. Your guy's dad was nice enough to let them enroll for free until they'd graduated." I was looking at my phone. I wasn't doing anything, I was just looking at it.
Ding!
It was a notification from my phones messages.
"Who is it?" Asked Sakura, she was looking over onto my phone.
"I think it's Laura." Luna was hovering over my shoulder.
"It's Laura, isn't it?" Sakura confirmed.
"Why's her name Annoying Stranger😒?" Luna started giggling, creating a domino affect of laughing between the three of us.
"Was that her name when you guys first met and you forgot to change her name back? Knowing you, you won't change it now." Sakura started calming down and went back to her usual bitchy personality. One of which I've somehow gotten used to.
"Yeah, you're right. You know me too well." I swiped down on the text message that was displayed on the top of the screen.
"What does it say?" Luna had very selective sight, so she wasn't really looking directly at the text, but more like she was looking at whatever I was doing on my phone.
"She's asking if you guys had left yet, and if you did, did you guys get home safely."
"Tell her no." Sakura did not hesitate.
"Why?"
"I understand that Laura might be dangerous but-" Luna started before getting cut off.
"Oh my God! Here we go again!" Sakura started walking away with her hands in the air, head thrown back.
I giggled to Luna's reaction of getting cut off by her sister.
"OH I KNOW THAT YOU DID NOT JUST-" Luna started chasing Sakura around the kitchen yelling insults, Sakura screaming some back while laughing.
Laura's POV:
_______ _________ _______ ______I quietly made my way into Y/n's bedroom, successfully because I made sure I memorized all the creaking floors from all the visits.
Maya's asleep in my car, I gave her a lot chloroform, so she should be well asleep.
All I heard was yelling and slamming footsteps on Y/n's kitchen floor, knowing that it was Luna and Sakura, made me kind of irritated if I'm being honest.
"Mental note to self: if you come at night, it'll be easier. Y/n's a heavy sleeper."
I knew that this would probably be a bad idea, but night would take too long. Dinner and sleep can wait, exploring Y/n's house can't.
Not even 5 minutes later, footsteps started coming up the stairs. Just one pair though. Y/n's footsteps. I guess Sakura and Luna had left at some point and I didn't notice, at least I parked my car in a nearby alleyway and nobody would really notice it.
"Here Luke, sorry it took so long." Y/n chuckled softly and placed what sounded like a glass plate onto Luke's desk.
"Thank you!" Luke jogged a bit to his desk and didn't hesitate to sit down.
"So you got off your cold, ey?" Y/n leaned onto the door frame, it creaked while coming in contact with the light weight y/p placed on it.
I groaned quietly and quickly jumped out her bedroom window, ran back to my car, hopped in and drove home. All the while Maya was asleep in the backseat.
