An Unexpected Vistit From Miss Popular

Saying that my soul passed on to nirvana, met god, and came back was an understatement. I had a heart attack, went to purgatory, met god, went to nirvana, reincarnated, and had the misfortune of going into the same damn body that was still there.

"Hellooooo~? Y/nnn, are yoouuuu thereee~?" Laura got up into my face, with wide emotionless eyes, while waving her hand in my face.

"EWWW, EW, EW, EWWWWW. GET AWAY FROM ME YOU RAT!" I yelled out pushing her away. Not hard enough to make her fall, but enough to make her back into a comfortable distance.

"Woooow Y/nnn...you're so meannnn~!" Laura whined, starting to cry out fake tears.

'What are you? A damn actor? Teach me how to cry on demand dammit' I thought to myself.

"Thanks for the compliment, I guess..." I rolled my eyes and continued on, "Now, what do you want, you annoying rat? I do not appreciate heart attacks, so I would like a verbal apology with a side of 150 dollars." I said holding my hand out, having one hand on my hip, I was smirking mischievously and had about a 30 degree angle between my torso and hips.

"Uhh...okay..." Laura started reaching into the pocket of the uniforms blouse. She started pulling out her wallet.

Sakura, Luna, and I opened our eyes up wide when we realized that she was actually about to do it. We all knew that I was joking but I guess she didn't.

I ran up to her, grabbed her hand with the wallet in it, and shoved it right back into the blouse's pocket. "I was just kidding dude!" I yelled out laughing.

I looked back up at Laura and saw that her face was red. Her hand that I was touching got sweaty, and she just stared right at me.

"Hey...are you okay...?" I asked her giggling softly.

"Uhh- uhm...yeah! I'm fine!" She snapped out of her trance and tried to distract herself. "Has anyone told you that you have a nice laugh?" She was awkwardly laughing.

"No. No I don't, I sound like a windex bottle, a car that won't start, and a plane that's in turbulence with thunder outside."

Sakura and Luna bursted out laughing from my response. One of them even fell onto the floor while the other was holding her stomach and crying from laughing too hard. Laura was trying very hard not to laugh.

"Go ahead and laugh, Laura. I won't be mad, nor will I be disappointed." I crossed my arms and closed my eyes.

Laura finally started bursting at the seams with laughter. She was giggling and was soon crying from the amount she was laughing.

I took out my phone to check the time. '7:46' I chuckled to myself and looked back up to the twins. 'You like taking your sweet time to arrive to class, we usually would've started moving about a minute ago...' I sighed. 'Well then...let's see who catches on.'

Not long after, Luna caught on to what I was doing.

"Guys, it's more than likely 7:48 right now and I wanna have my meaningless and pointless walk to class that takes about 15 minutes. You're sooo meannn Y/n~!" Luna grabbed Sakura and started walking away.

I started walking with them. I looked back at Laura though. "Sorry, meet up at lunch?"

She gasped and intensely nodded. "Yes- I will most definitely be there, my prince(ss)~"

I giggled. "Stop being cringy, anyway, see you at lunch 'Miss Popular'~" I stuck my tongue out at her and ran to catch back up with now-calm Luna.
