𝙴𝚗𝚓𝚘𝚢, 𝚝𝚘 𝚝𝚑𝚘𝚜𝚎 𝚠𝚑𝚘 𝚊𝚠𝚊𝚒𝚝𝚎𝚍 𝚏𝚘𝚛 𝚝𝚑𝚎 𝚞𝚙𝚍𝚊𝚝𝚎!!

The trip back to Camelot is silent.

 Neither he or Zeldris bothered to make small pep talk with a Mewman who is supposedly the foster great, great.... something great granddaughter of their beloved and her human companion. They also didn't bother joining in the quiet talk between her, the human and the Goddess. They let the Goddess go, since there's no point in getting her dragged along in their personal business. But she didn't want to leave the two with them, and Zeldris was close to killing her on the spot.

 But the Mewman got a little attached to the Goddess. After overhearing their conversation for some time, it seemed both of them have some things in common. So Meliodas coldly allowed the Goddess to tag along, since she is so concerned with their well-being. Deep down though, he knew she is more concerned with him since he isn't the same as she knew him as. But she does realize he used to be like this before they met, doesn't she?

 Perhaps she isn't used to it. Or maybe she is clinging onto the fragile hope that maybe he would realize he does love her, but won't admit it. No, that is pointless because Meliodas is being truthful to his words on that night. Even though he feels nothing now, he DOES know that he doesn't have any romantic feelings for her.

 His heart belongs to his Darkest Star, Eclipsa.

 Upon returning, the human and the Goddess bore uneasy looks since they are aware they're know in the territory of the Demon Clan. However, to the demon brothers' intrigue, the Mewman is more calmer compared to them. She did look a bit nervous when she captured the attention of the wandering demons, but she eventually grew confident and calmer upon seeing they aren't hostile yet.

 Does she have experience with demons before in her realm?

 Eclipsa did say Mewni has demons as well. But compared to the Demons here in Britannia, the Mewni demons are significantly weaker. While they do appear monstrous, but they very rarely have demons that can appear humans. Those ones are usually the hybrids.

They entered the castle, and the first ones they were greeted by once reaching the throne room are Cusack and Chandler.

 "Welcome back, Young Masters~!" Chandler greeted, with him and Cusack bowing before the sons of the Demon King. When they straightened their backs, Chandler made a disgruntled face when she saw Elizabeth, "I see you managed to recapture the Goddess."

 "Getting her back was not our intention." Meliodas responded coldly with his dark eyes. "She only returned because of them." he added, while looking over to Star and Marco in the corner of his eyes. Both demons now noticed them as well.

 "Those markings on the girl's face... Isn't she-" Cusack began with a mild look of surprise.

 "Mewman, yes." Zeldris cuts in abrasively. Then he added with more coldness and seriousness in his tone, "Go to the library and find the spell books you can find in there. This is an important matter, so get to it."
