It was the first week in March. The first script reading is tomorrow and I got to admit that I'm actually nervous about meeting the cast tomorrow. Not knowing is exciting and scary, but you know, whatever. It was late when Dany, Amara, and I were sitting at the kitchen table eating cookies while we discussed how tomorrow would go.

"Ricky can't be there tomorrow so she wants me to fill in and also take some good pics for the facebook fan page and twitter." Said Amara.

I looked at Dany, "And you still protest riding the bus?"

Dany looked offended by the question. "There are pervs, creeps, sick people, rapist, theifs, and rats on the bus. Do not even go there with me."

I just stared at her for a minute then looked back to Amara. "So, yeah the bus is out."

Dany huffed a little and grabbed another cookie from the plate in the center of the table. "I don't see why you don't like me just grabbing a cab."

I looked at her and said trying to sound like her, "There are pervs, creepers, sick people, rapist, theifs, and rats." Amara and I laughed as she scowled at me.

"Whatever. I still need a ride to school. I'm helping with sets for the new play tomorrow." Dany replied.

"I can see if Kyle want to take her?" Amara suggested.

"Yes! That's a perfect idea!" Dany said quickly. I raised a brow and looked at her. "He sometimes lets me drive the truck." Dany said quietly.

I looked back to Amara. "I've officially decided that your boyfriend is a bad influence and is no longer aloud around my sister."

Amara chuckled, "I'll text him and tell him to pick you up on the way to the studio."

Dany thrust her fist into the air. "Yes!"

I rolled my eyes. "What time is the reading tomorrow?"

"I talked to Ricky and Cam, they said that it doesn't start until about 8:30, but Cam wants you there about 7:30 or 8."

I nodded. "Alright, I can handle that."

"Kate!" I heard Dany yell.

I shot up and looked at the blinking clock that said 3:42. "Dany what the hell?! It's almost 4 am!" I yelled back still half asleep. then I relized jerking my head back to the blinking clock. "Oh my God."

"The power went out. We both over slept." Dany replied.

"Oh God! What time is it really?!" I said jumping up turning the light on and running to the dresser.

"It's a little passed seven." Dany said.

I pulled out an old pair of jeans and an old tinkerbell t-shirt. "Alright, Kyle will be here any minute to pick you up, so go hurry and get ready." Dany nodded and run out of my room. I quickly put my clothes on then rushed into the bathroom. I put my hair up into a quick messy bun and brushed my teeth. I put on my tennis shoes and yelled down the hall as I grabbed my bag. "Bye Dany! Have a good day at school!"

"Yeah! Have fun meeting the cast! Don't embarrass yourself!" Dany yelled back and I laughed rolling my eyes.

I grabbed my jacket and car keys and ran out the door. It didn't take my body long to realize I hadn't eaten or had coffee before I left. So like any other stupid white girl I decided to pull into the Starbucks drive through. It didn't take my coffee deprived brian long to figure out that this was an awful idea. But I couldn't do anything because there was already two cars behind me. I looked at the clock, 7:45. I threw my head back "Uhg!" I exclaimed. I finally placed my order and got my coffee and bagel. I pulled out of the Starbucks when my phone went off. I answered putting it on speaker. "Go,"

"Hey, it's me." Amara's voice said. "Where are you?"

I looked at the clock it was 8:15. "Crap! I'm on my way. We lost power last night my alarm never went off." I explained.

"Alright, well," Amara started to giggle. "You are never going to believe who is here."

"Shut up! No spoilers! I'll be there in a bit, hopefully." I replied.

Amara huffed. "Alright fine. I'll tell Cam."

"Alright." I hung up. When I pulled into the studio parking lot it was 8:35. "Man! Cam's going to kill me!" I said to myself stuffing the bagel in my purse, then grabbing my keys, my coffee, and purse running into the building. I walked up to the front desk. "Hi, I'm here for the 'Magical Forces' reading. What room would that be in?" The woman looked up and said it was just down the hall fourth door on the left. "Alright, thanks." I said running down the hall. I found the room and opened the door. "Hey, sorry I'm late." I said closing the door then looked to everyone. I was speechless. I was honestly standing there like an idiot. Alan Rickman was sitting right there. I couldn't believe it.

"It's alright we haven't started yet." Cam said walking to me snapping me out of my trance. I gave him an irritated smile.

"Can I talk to you?" He nodded and we turned our backs to everyone as they just talked amongst themselves. "So that's,"

"Yes." He replied knowing who I was talking about.

"And he's playing"

"You're love interest." He said them a smile. Cam was enjoying this way too much.

"Right." I said more to myself. "And I'm sitting where?"

"Right next to Mr. Rickman." Again he was getting way to much pleasure out of this.

"Of course. I hate you." I said. "And if it wasn't for the fact that I love this story so much I would quit right now."

"And because you just love me so much." Cam said.

"Yeah that too." I said with a glare. I started to walk away then turned back. "And one more thing. I hate you. I really do."

"Alright, I'm fine with that." Cam replied and I walked away.

Amara was standing off in the corner and she looked at me giggling like mad. I just shook my head at her and mouthed 'Oh my God.' Thankfully Alan was busy on his phone and talking to the person next to him. I took a deep breath and sat down next to him. I pulled out my bagel and tore off a piece as a glanced at the first scene. Then I heard, "You didn't bring me one?"

I turned to see Alan looking at me. "What?" I asked.

"You're late for our first reading with a bagel and you didn't bring me one?" He said. I started stuttering for no reason. Then he started laughing. "I'm joking." Oh my God that smile! I couldn't help but think. He stuck out his hand and said "Hi, I'm Alan."

I smiled and shook his hand. "Oh, trust me I know." I said giggling. Then I pulled away and shook my head. "I'm sorry that came out kind of creepy. I meant I'm a big fan. Oh, and I'm Kate by the way. But I'm sure you already knew that. Then again you did just introduce yourself so I'm probably just making myself look like an idiot right now. Oh my God am I still talking? I tend to babble when I'm nervous. Uhg. I should really just shut up now." He sat there laughing at me for a moment and I could feel my face heat up. "Is there any way we can pretend that none of that just happened?"

He laughed again. "No. That was actually quite entertaining." He replied.

"Can we just start over?"

Alan nodded. He stuck out his hand again. "Hi, I'm Alan."

I shook his hand again. "Hi, I'm Kate. I'm a big fan of yours."

"Oh really? That's nice. And I happen to be quite a fan of yours believe it or not." I'm pretty sure I was bright red at that moment.

"Alright!" We heard Cam yell. "I hope everyone is ready because ready or not here we go!" We all laughed at him. "Welcome everyone to the first reading of 'Magical Forces'. Let's get started."

We all opened our scripts to the first page and started.
