Nick and Carly ran as fast as they could. Soon they reached stairs that led them up to another room. The walls as well as the stairs were made out of wax which made them believe that they were currently underneath the house of wax. Waxen faces built into the wall stared at the pair as they ran up the steps. Sprinting up the stairs the siblings feet kept pushing over candles that stood on top of each step as a resource of light. If only Nick knew that this was the exact place his friend Dalton died at.
"Come on, this way!", Nick screamed as he grasped his sisters wrist and pulled her with him.
Both of them were panting heavily as they rushed around the corner and entered the kitchen in which Carly discovered the melted wax figure just a few hours ago.
The girls focus once again turned to the dust covered high-chairs in the corner. They had to belong to the twins as their two names were written on the inner back of the chair.
She gasped as she stared at the high-chairs a little longer. The one labelled "Bo" had small traces of blood on the arm rests where the wrists were supposed to be.
Her mind played back to his scarred wrists as he tied her to the chair and she gasped again. Her focus was quickly broken when Nick pulled her in the entrance room.
Suddenly he stopped and Carly fell against him, surprised. She looked up only to see the terrified look on his face. Following his eyes she soon discovered her boyfriend covered in wax sitting in front of the old piano. Someone tried to peel the wax off of his face, his skinless jaw was an extreme contrast to the smooth wax. "No.", Carly gasped, "Oh my god. Wade!"
Nick realized that if they wouldn't move now, Carly would have a breakdown and they couldn't risk that in their current situation. "Come on." he muttered as he pulled his sister away from Wade's corpse. "No.", Carly tried to stop him but her body was too exhausted and so she let her brother lead her away from her dead lover.
They walked through the doorway only to see a smug grinning Bo on the other side. He must've heard them mourning for Wade.
Nicks blood began to boil. Rage beyond belief filled his mind and he let go of Carly's hand.
"You sick fuck!" he screamed as he tackled the man and fell on top of him.
Bo flipped him over slamming his back into the hard waxen ground. Thereupon the Sinclair twin quickly jumped on his feet and got ready to blow the first hits.
As soon as Nick stood up as well, Bo's fist knocked into his face, making him fall backwards once again. After bringing his knuckles down into Nick's abdomen and pushing him towards an old couch, Nicks tall body nearly broke the old furniture piece. His weight destroyed the two wax figures laying on top of it, wax flaking off the dead skin cells revealing the corpse underneath.
Exactly at that time Carly decided to join the brawl. Lifting the baseball bat high up in the air, she attacked Bo's back heavily. Bo tried to pull his defenseless ribcage away from her bat and raised his fist to knock her out, sending her small body flying into the air, a few feet away from her twin and Bo.
She passed out as soon as her skull hit the floor, still clutching the baseball bat in her fingers.
