Chapter 8

"It's going to be okay April", Phillip said trying to calm her nerves.

Today was the day that they were going to go see his family. A.J. was very excited but nervous at the same time. She had no clue what his parents were going to be like, and that scared her. She hated meeting the parents, with every boyfriend she has had. And to be fair, they never really like her either.

"Ladies and gentlemen, please buckle your seat belts we will be arriving in Chicago, Illinois very shortly. I hope you've had a wonderful time and thank you for choosing American Airlines. Have a nice day."

Her attitude made A.J. even more nervous.

***Back In Tampa, Florida***

"Okay........ now you wanna take foot and put in on the bottom rope, aaannnnnd there you go!"

Kelly Kelly always loved helping out at NXT. She always wanted to be a trainer. And here, she was allowed to do that. It would also give her time to practice herself and meet new people.

But there was just one problem in her life.

Sheldon.

One night she came home from a tapping and caught Sheldon in the act with another girl. She was very shocked words couldn't even explain. But most importantly, he broke her heart into a million pieces. She didn't think she'd ever be able to trust anyone else again. However, she has had a while to think about it and she is officially over him.

She has now realized that she could do even better without him. Although she might be over him she wants to take things a little slow and just enjoy the single life. Especially after two years of being tied down.

When Kelly Kelly got home she started to pack her bags up because all of the Total Divas had a press conference in New York. And this would be her first interview in a while and she wanted to make a good impression. She was very nervous too, and didn't want to say anything wrong.

When she finally finished cleaning her house and packing up all her bags. She went online and decided to look up some of her old videos to practice. She was not going to let her first interview back be her worst.

***Back In Virginia***

Mickie still didn't know how she was going to tell Nicholas this. And it was almost time for him to be home. Mickie cooked, cleaned, and got Donavan including herself ready for bed. Just when he fell asleep Mickie heard someone open the door. Then she walked downstairs to see who it was.

It was Nick.

That wasn't his usual self not to say anything when he walked through the door. He had a depressed and melancholy look on his face. Mickie wanted to know why because he wasn't being his self. He would always come home with a smile on his face. Mickie decided to sit him down and see what was bothering him.

"Sweetie, is there anything you need to talk about; anything that's bothering you maybe?"

"Oh........about that.............",he paused for quite a long time trying to find his words. And say it in the easiest way possible.

"Well..........they let go of me today. Said that my work was no longer needed. Annnddd you know how we've been having a hard time with the bills and payments, and especially with D's school and-"

"Yeah....well....ya see.......ummmmmm.......they sort of.....maybe let us go too", Mickie read a sign of relief off of Nick's face. But she also saw sadness.

She knew that she had to take a part in this too. She needed a job and she knew the perfect place to call.

***Back In Tampa, Florida***

When paige finally woke up she was fully clothes like nothing had ever happened. Everything just started to come back to her after a few minutes and she started to cry. She knew she couldn't tell anyone about this. It was really hard for her to handle.

Suddenly she started to panic. She propped herself up on her elbows and grabbed her phone and looked at it.

8:45 a:m

She missed her flight to New York.

She then got two text messages. It was from Mark and Mark Carrono

M: I'm so sorry about what happened yesterday. You should have the right to be mad at me. please don't tell anyone about it. Thanks.

MC: Hello, I just called to inform you that there will not be a press conference for the divas because of personal issues with the Bellas. Thank you.

Paige didn't know what to do so she went back to bed. Wanting to completely shut out the world.
