Chapter 4

Bri and a Bryan had now been at home cuddling while Josie was sunbathing from the sun that shone brightly through the window. There had been awkward moments where one of the kissed the other on the nose or just simply dazed into each other's eyes longer than two minutes. But they didn't care, it was peaceful, which was how they like it. There had been a great deal of silence until Bri spoke.

"You know, I was very worried when you had that accident, I couldn't even think straight", she said as he comfortly stroked her bare side where her top had moved.

"Can we just not talk about that.....like....ever?"

"Well if it makes you feel better I guess".

Bri was noticing that Bryan was acting depressed and sad lately and really wanted to know why. But she figured it'd be best to not ask. She thought that maybe the pain would go away eventually. It was probably because of him worried about him getting better so he can go back to work or his dad dying. Either way Bri hated seeing him like this and hoped that is would be over soon.

*** Back in Tampa, Florida ***

Eva Marie had been hugging Jonathan for a while as they stood at her apartment door taking in the moment. Breathing in his scent. Mint. They finally decided to go in and relax and just spend time together. She was very happy now that she had gotten this place all to herself and kicked JoJo to the curb. However there was some times in her life when she needed a friend to talk to but had no one. Of course her lovely boo would always be there mentally but sometimes not physically. She needed that physical connection with her boyfriend more that anything else.

"......I.......missed....you......so.......much", they had shared a kiss in between each word.

"I missed you so much baby, actually too much. What did you do while I was gone huh? Go to strip clubs without me and make it rain?"

"Hahahahahaha....... no I bet you did that though. I actually have been at the training center practicing on some new moves with Alicia and Emma. I swear they are so much more nicer than some people around here."

"Who is always being mean to you babe, let me know and I'll-"

"Noooooo..... Then I'll be on the streets with no job. Hahahaha, but seriously the girls aren't that nice to me."

"What girls come on eva just tell me", there was a slight pause in delay as she was debating to herself back and forth whether to tell him what was going on in and outside of work. She finally started back up again.

"It's just the Bellas, Nattie, and this girl named Cameron. But sometimes they don't even-"

"Do you need me to talk with them", she gave him a look of doubt,"No I'm being serious with you right now I'll talk to them if you need me to.

"No babe, I'd rather you not. I just don't wanna cause anymore drama than there already is. And I also don't want them to think that it's getting in my head because then they'll win. I just have to be strong and carry on with my life."

Jonathan was feeling better to here that coming from her. He always loved a strong independent woman. And he has one to keep for the rest of his life.

***Back in Las Angeles, California***

John and Nicole were sitting across from each other in a dimly lit restaurant. It was beautiful. But they were both into the mood and decided to leave. During the dinner the usual topics had come up. Like how their day was, what they did at the gym, and of course the whole marriage and kids thing. However Nikki was acting kinda strange. John brought it up and when he did Nikki had found no desire what so ever to talk about it. She said that she no longer wanted to get married or have kids. That was heartbreaking for john. He hated to see her give up on something she really wanted in the beginning all for him. But he had a feeling that it was her choice and that he could not control that so he shrugged it off.

When they got home they were all over each other and could not keep their hands off. Clothes started to come off, things started to get even more hot. But all of a sudden john just stopped in his tracks.

"I'm sorry I can't do this",he said trying to catch his breath.

"What do you mean you can't do this. We've been doing this, for two years now. What's so different?"

"That's the problem it's been two years and I feel like I've been holding you back from what you really wanna do in life and I've just been feeling really guilty lately. I'm sorry."

"Is that why you brought it up at dinner?"

"Yeah because you just seemed so-"

"No just save it. You know what I can't do this anymore!"

Nikki started to put her clothes back on. Then she stormed out of the bedroom with her keys and her jacket. She was just so mad at the fact that john was telling her that she he thought maybe she needed to rethink things. When she finally thought that he was happy because she had given him what he wanted. But that wasn't the case. Nikki kept thinking to herself 'ya know what, I am going to rethink things'. She decided that some major things were about to change and john was going to regret it too.
