"rather than anything
let's talk about time.
tell me it's worth it,
tell me i will call you mine.
and i will be yours."

the courage to talk to her again was really hard to find. i guess i just liked the distance that separated us so i could admire her from my usual spot. but i hated it at the same time. there was a lot to discover about her.

as soon as i entered the library, i went to the table she was sitting at. i exhaled slowly and tapped on her shoulder. she didn't even move from her book when she asked me what i wanted.

"are you enjoying the book?" i asked.

"yes," she answered simply and finally tilted her head to look me in the eyes. i could read from her face it didn't bother her - the chance for me to strike up a conversation. and i sat beside her, hands slightly shaking of nervousness.

she smiled at me and suddenly everything became easier. we were both shy, that's why our conversation was being interrupted by long pauses. but i felt comfortable around her. at first she hadn't seemed funny but she made me laugh many times, mostly because of her cuteness.

we forgot about books and got lost in our own world, the one we shared with each other. now i had so many poems to write - about her laughter, her way of thinking, the way she talked, her adorable personality, even her beautiful name which suited her so well - lee yubin.
