I can't believe my baby girl is getting married and to Barney Miller. She showed us her engagement ring, I thought they were just dating, they don't really do any PDA so I had no idea they were that serious. But they have known each other for years and have been involved with the designs for the trackers and it was a great collaboration, but I had no idea they had a thing for each other that long ago.

When Barney asked for Tias hand in marriage I was thrilled and surprised, but he explained that they both had crushes on each other for all that time. I could find a nice guy and one that respects my daughter completely. Hi parents already know he wants to marry Tia. He definitely has the resources to support her. He and Anastasia own their own companies and work in conjunction with one another on most everything they patent. So they have a lot of co owned patents. A few they sold to Christian just because he needed them more than they did. Plus they were for humanitarian purposes and he bought them for the cost and nothing else.

Mom went from shocked to wedding planning mode in a quick minute. I ask her to tone it down for Barney's sake. We want a small wedding and no huge fan fair. But mom has other ideas. She wants us to set the date and get my dress and find bridesmaids and blah blah blah. I just sit and listen after a while and nod and shake and she finally realizes I have zoned out on all the wedding plans. This is more Mias speed, I just can't think about all this and now I have to ask for dads help to tame the mother of the bride syndrome mom has caught so quickly.

Barney and Tia getting married is amazing, mom has told me to set aside some time to get fitted for a bridesmaid dress for the wedding. She just found out about the engagement and now she is making wedding plans and not small ones at that. I am so glad it's not me yet. Ethan and I just started dating and we are taking it slowly. Kate and Elliott might be moving faster than we are, but I don't see marriage at this point, but who knows with those two.

Mom has called me about using my jet to fly Barney and Tia to their honeymoon location they want. I knew them telling mom would start the wedding preparation snowballing downhill. Barney plans everything out, so he will go crazy with moms planning the wedding herself. If I know him he has a plan in place and it's a small wedding.

I am not shocked about Barney marrying Tia it was obvious they had a thing for one another from the day they met. That was after the kidnapping and she found out he and Anastasia had been able to track them with the test trackers they had them wear. She not only helped them design nice pieces for the trackers and it grew from there. Now all of are dating and one is engaged and mom is just thrilled and hoping for grandchildren. Kate and I just had a pregnancy scare and it was just stress thank goodness. We aren't ready for a child, although she would definitely be my first choice for mother of my babies. She can't cook, but she tries. I have a cook and housekeeper anyway. Christians housekeeper and cook had a cousin who needed a job and sent her over to interview and I hired her after she made us a quick meal. So she now takes care of my home and now it's Kates as well. She is about to get her college degree and is about to work full time for her father at Kavanagh Media. So I have my company and she has her career set ahead of her, so I am ready after thinking about being a father it's time. She is ten years younger than I am, but we balance each other out. I decide to shop for an engagement ring, I want what m9m and dad here finally. Christian had Kate sign an NDA when we first started dating to assure she does write articles about our family.

Tia called me in a panic and it's over her mom planning our whole wedding, when we have it all planned down to the last details. The invitations are on their way and everything has been bought, ordered, and deposits made on them. We made the plans before we found 5he best ring designer we could to create our wedding rings and the engagement rings. They have built in trackers and the designer had to have a stellar reputation in being talented and discreet. The ring is designed and it has tiny flowers circling a diamond, that is her engagement ring. Our bands are a matching flower and surrounded by four leaf clovers for luck. The tracker is set in the trademark of the ring and it is easily pulled out by the jeweler if. We need to replace it. Tia hasn't been brave enough to tell her mother about our plans. I guess we have to do that together. We bought the home down the street from her parents and we had Ray come in and fo a few things including two nurseries for future children. He said it only needed minor repairs and we can work on that before the wedding.
Tia
I am calmer now that Barney has calmed me down and reminded me that we have completely planned our wedding and where we are having it at our new home. We had Ray build a gazebo and we had him build a place where we can work together on designs together. I am not replacing Anastasia as his business partner, I am just becoming part of the team. He and I work on other kinds of designs and accessories for other devices. Anastasia and Barney created some very high tech surveillance devices that are smaller and can be easily hidden like the trackers.
Three months and finally getting my mom settled down we are married and on our way to our honeymoon on Christians jet.
