An Interesting Night

We walk in to a club the hotel recommended and we head for the bar, Christian has his fake ID and we get a couple of beers and watch the ladies come and go. I see a buxom blonde checking me out and she has a friend. I nudge Christian and he looks and they walk our way. Tessa is the blonde and lives here in Detroit. Her friend Leigh is visiting from New York.
Christian
I introduce myself to Leigh and Tessa. Both look like Elliotts type, but he seems to like Tessa more than Leigh. We buy the ladies three more drinks. They hold their alcohol well. They invite themselves to our hotel room. Luckily we locked everything in the hotel safe before we left. So we invite them back to our rooms. A mistake of epic proportions.

Look some out of towners, want to have a little fun?
Leigh
You mean roll them?
Tessa
Look at those clothes they have the money. Guess we could have fun and then roll them. But let's get a good look at them first.
Leigh
Damn they are hot, but I need the cash. We drink a few and they just sip their beers. We finally grab a cab to their hotel. No car, but nice hotel. I hope security doesn't recognize us here.
Tessa
I whisper, we need to do this and get out of here.
Christian
I stop by the front desk and have them take my wallet and keys to put in the safe. Elliott only has his drivers license on him. I ask the clerk to send room service up in thirty minutes. I just have this feeling. He watches as I seal my things in the bag and put my thumb and fingerprint on the sealed bag. We head up in the elevator.
Elliott
Is getting a bit twitchy neither lady has attempted to kiss either of us. Something is off. So I ask Christian if he has the room number and the key card or did he put that in the safe as well? Our signal.
Christian
Oh Lord I think I dropped it in the cab, ladies mind if we call you a cab? It's going to take time to get them to reissue our room cards if we don't have the room numbers. I hit the penthouse which alerts security that someone is coming up.
Security sees us and then our companions. One takes Tessa and the other takes Leigh and they are both handcuffed.

Well tonight is your lucky night gentleman, we prevented you from getting robbed by these two cons. Right Leigh from New York? More like Eat side of Detroit. Tessa and her work this scam every time the hotel has a full house and then the desk clerk sends guys to the bar they use to catch there victims. I reach in and pull a gun and rope out of both purses. I find duct tape too.

Oh Lord let me call and have Gordy arrested at his home. Guys that's who sent you to the bar right?
Christian
Yes that's his name, I asked him to give me a few places, but he said there was only one sure thing in town. Sure thing all right sure thing of being robbed. Thanks gentlemen, I Think we are going to go down and get our things from the safe now and head back to our suite. Are we needed for a statement?

No we have it covered, they have a few arrest warrants on them and a few hotel desk clerks. We had to wait until we had them back on the property and confirm the video and we have all that now thanks to you two. What tipped you off?
Christian
They had quite a lot of alcohol, but don't seem drunk and they never touched us at all. No kissing, dancing or touching. It was obvious they were nervous about coming into the hotel lobby. So I had my wallet and keys locked in the safe and decided to hit the penthouse button, knowing in your brochure that security is there at all times. I knew you would make it was the real guest in those suites arriving.

Smart young man, the cops are picking up the desk clerks now and they are arresting these two and the other teams working the areas.

We head over and get our things from the safe and do an inventory. Everything is there of mine. We need to check the rest of our things as well. We were taken to the security room and we go through everything as the girls watch us like hawks. The contract from The Steele company looks changed. On both copies, in our favor. I show Christian and it looks odd. Only someone who had access to the safe could have made these changes. Luckily our attorneys have the originals and these were copies. We expressed them overnight at a currier service close by. Ray was going to take his in person.
Christian
I check everything and something is missing, my credit card. They search the girls and they have them. I spend the next hours talking to the credit card company and the police. My money is in their purses as well. Do the puck pocketed us before we entered the hotel. We both got taken. Then I notice we are missing the business cards from mr Steele. I have them checked again and they have both cards. They have all my business cards. I take all of them just in case. I spoke to a lot if people at the hotel. The hotel is responsible for everything that happened last night and this morning. My attorney will be suing them on our behalf and Ray Steeles as well. Elliott keeps looking and finds something else. Something was added to our documents. A copy of a birth certificate. Why would we need a copy of a birth certificate?

Well I think you should look at this one, it's Anastasia Steeles and she's thirteen.
Christian
As in the Anastasia we met and talked business with her and I guess her father and herself last night. We shouldn't have problems with it except possibly as a witness. The attorney can tell us about that. She didn't sign the contract as one of the principles involved. But we can remedy all of this. She seems older than thirteen. She's younger than Mia. Have to stay away from her that's for sure.
