~×~

TWO YOUNG boys sneakily went inside a hospital on the upper floors that were restricted to the students' access.

"You sure about your intel?" asked a young boy to his companion.

"You really don't trust me, do you?" his companion asked, a bit annoyed.

They were always incompatible. A total opposite. Two sides of the same coin.

"I don't really rely on picked-up information. But I guess your eavesdropping skills paid off."

"I wasn't eavesdropping. I was spying."

"That's a fancy way to say it."

"Huh. And look where my eavesdropping brought us. To Zariah. You're welcome, by the way."

"Tsk, you're just some..."

"Some what?"

"I forgot the term. There's a Filipino term for that."

"A term for what, exactly?"

"Ah," he remembered. "Chismoso."

His companion got confused. Not really understanding what the term meant.

"What does that even mean? I'm not well-versed in Filipino. Zariah's been teaching me some terms."

"She's teaching you?" the boy's expression slightly changed. Then he smirked, "Chismoso means someone good at picking up information and then spreading it like wildfire."

"You're...lying," says his companion with furrowed brows, but not really sure.

The boy immediately returned to his poker face.

"Am I?"

"Psh, w-whatever! Anyway, why are you here with me? I thought you hated Zariah?"

"Not...really," he mumbled.

"Hmmm," his companion eyed him suspiciously. Then he murmured, "Just get back to Romania, stupid. I want to be alone with Zariah."

The boy heard that and just sighed in response.

They stop in front of a room. They stared at the doorknob. Then, they looked at each other...and suddenly gave each other a forced smile.

The next second, they started pushing each other off and competed for the door.

"Let me open it!" shouted his companion.

"I should open it!" shouted the young boy.

"No! Let me!"

"Tsk! Let me do the honor of turning the knob!"

"I brought us here! The honor is mine!"

"Vreau să deschid ușa!"

"Stop speaking in Romanian!"

"Nu-mi pasă, prostule."

"You just insulted me, did you?!"

Their shouts reached the sleeping girl inside the room. She slowly pulled herself up and stepped down from the bed. She has been confined for two months already. The sound outside was making her want to go out.

A young boy has been visiting her constantly. If it's that person, she might want to go out.

"Kuya...?" she whispers. As she opened the door, two boys fell straight inside the room. Her excitement turned into a frown. It wasn't that Kuya she was expecting.
