C H A P T E R 16

Margot's POV

-It is weird to have my own body- Harley said while we were going to Scarlett's house.

-You will get used- I said -Do you think that she will help us?-.

Harley nodded and I knocked on the door.

Scarlett opened a few moments later.

-What...? I didn't drink anything I swear, why do I see two Margot?- she asked confused.

-I'm Harley- Harley said -You know, the experiment Selene told us about.

-Wow it is amazing!- Taylor said -I am so happy that it worked!-.

Taylor was there too, perfect. We needed her help too.
We sat in the living room and I told them what happened.
I was sure that it was a trap but I couldn't leave him there, James would have eventually killed him.

-Ok so you want to go there and save him?- Scarlett said -I mean, that place will be full of his men-.

-I know but I can't leave him there- I said.

-Also, we know the place very well, when Margot was with him she went there very often- Harley said.

-You know what? I'm in!- Taylor said -He doesn't deserve this!-.

Scarlett smiled: -Let's go then!-.

Ok the fact that it was super easy to enter the house and find Tom was a little suspicious.
My worries were real indeed, because when we were in the house entrance, ready to escape, we were surrounded my James' men.

-Well well, the prey ended in the trap- James said approaching -Or I would say the preys-.

-Come on! Couldn't it be easy for once?- Harley said.

James laughed: he always liked Harley, but she saw him only like something to have fun with.

-What do you want James?- I asked.

-You really thought you could play with me?- he asked -Just so you know, my grandfather was your dear loved Jamie-.

What?! I was shocked, I couldn't believe that James was Jamie's nephew! That is why he remembered me somehow.

-What?- I asked.

-Exactly- he said -Why don't you explain to your friends here what you did to him?-.

-She did nothing to him!- Harley said.

-Oh right, because it was your fault- James said -They broke because you couldn't leave Margot-.

-It is not Harley's fault! We broke because he didn't accept me like I am- I said.

-He felt guilty for all his life, he never fogave himself for what happened- he said -And then you woke up and I knew I had to do something-.

-So you did all of this for vengance?- I asked.

James smiled and Scarlett and Taylor screamed: Tom had a gun and was pointing it to them.

-Tom? What...- I asked.

-He always worked with me- James said -He is a better actor than you-.

-We will fight- Harley said.

-Then let's the game begin- James said.

Third's person POV

Scarlett and Taylor were fighting Tom while Harley and Margot were fighting James.

At the end, they won but the girls and James disappeared.

Days, weeks passed and Tom died because of the injuries.

-Where do you think Margot and Harley are?- Taylor asked -Are they alive?-.

-I am sure they are- Scarlett said -And I am sure that they will come back when it will be safer-.

-How will they find us? If we leave New York they don't know where we are- Taylor said.

Indeed, after what happened that night the city was in chaos and everyone was escaping.

-They will find us- Scarlett said -I know they will-.

They both smiled and went to on the plane, ready to leave New York forever.

Meanwhile, in the opposite part of the Country, two girls who looked exactly the same were running away from police.

Were they criminals? No they weren't.

They were helping police but in a way that wasn't very legal.

They were on a bridge, the only way to escape was jump in the river and swim.

They did that many times in the past, the river would have brought them to their base.

-Are you ready Margot?- one of the girls said.

-Always Harley- Margot answered.

And they jumped.
