Tendou sat quietly watching his friend and Captain walk towards him. The other team members couldn't understand their strange friendship. Ushijima was serious and didn't seem to partake in any of the other team activities outside volleyball, in fact the majority of his team mates had never seen his smile or heard him laugh. He was treated as the leader and therefore people tended to stay away from him.
TENDOU - Hi guys, could you all listen up please.
Everyone continued to talk amongst themselves until Ushijima stood up and shouted.

Everyone sat back down and continued doing what they had been doing prior to the announcement. Tendou closed his eyes and drifted off to sleep but he didn't realise that someone was looking at Him, intently.
It had taken a while for Ushijima to realise that he had developed romantic feelings for the crazy redhead. Tendou was the only one who treated him like a friend and listened with great interest to whatever Ushi wanted to talk about. He knew that Tendou had a very difficult childhood and he was bullied mercilessly because he looked different to the other children. They called him a monster and alienated him, he still had anxiety issues because of how he was treated.
Ushijima still remembered the first day that they met, he thought he was kind, caring, funny and beautiful. He made Ushijima feel normal, he too had a difficult childhood and he too was made to feel different but that was because he scared people. He was never mean or violent towards people but his raw power shocked opposing teams. He was also called weird as he didn't mix well with others.

What the boys didn't realise was that someone had noticed how they acted towards each other and he had decided that he was going to do something to help they clueless couple realise that they were perfect for each other.
At the other end of the bus one of the boys looked with admiring eyes at his senior. Shirabu had always thought that Semi was cool, he played in a rock band for God's sake so you couldn't get much cooler. However Shirabu thought that the older boy couldn't be interested in him, I mean he had taken his spot as team setter and therefore must really hate him but Semi had never been mean or jealous of him. He had always been nice.

Goshiki couldn't believe all of the tension between his team mates. It was obvious that one or more of the room mates had feelings for each other but he wasn't interested in having a relationship, volleyball was his life. However all that changed when he accidently bumped into another first year on a different team.
