"Tell me where he is!" He slams his hand on the wooden desk, causing the man behind it to jump.

"Like I said before, he left a few days ago to Rozhie," The man calmly replied.

"Why would he go to Rozhie and not tell my father!"

"Vee-" Saffron tugs on his arm. "I think we should go.."

"You are lucky that she is here, otherwise your head will be through that wall right now!" He points to the wall behind the man.

Vesper storms out, faint burn marks where he's stepped. Saffron mumbles sorry and follows him.

"Where is Rozhie?" She asks when they get outside.

"In the mountains, where it is winter all year round." He replies, still walking through the town.

"Oh."

They walk in silence until Vesper abruptly stops.

"Why did we stop?" Saffron asks him, trying to peer from around his back.

He doesn't answer, but a voice speaks out.

"Follow me." Was all the rough voice said before they were on the move again.

Saffron followed Vee through the tall, wooden door way. Spiral details leading up to the top. The interior was delicate but had a certain edge to it. The polished wood led from the bottom of the wall to halfway. The wallpaper was black with some marks in it, barely noticeable. The floor was draped in a crimson carpet, leading all the way into the open space. Along the walls were pictures of people; children, adults, boys, girls, men, and women alike.

They walked along each picture, each doorway until they reached the open area. In which consisted a lounge area, and a kitchen.

"Vee where are we?" She asks, looking around at the people sitting on the couches.

"We are at Vaera's Keep." The man answers for Vee.

The man looks young, like a teenager young. His hair is dark brown, almost black that he could blend into the night sky. He is quite tall and has a warm beige complexion.

"Vaera's Keep?" She asks, still being led through the lounge area up the stairs.

"That's enough." Vesper turns his head around to her, with an edge in his voice. "Sorry about that, she is a bit inquisitive."

"It's okay. Young lady, we will talk about this in my office."

The rest of the walk was in silence.

Stepping up the second flight of stairs in this Keep, they finally reach a door. Much like the front door from downstairs.

The man opened the door, he held it open and gestured for Vesper and Saffron to take a seat in the two red leather chairs, facing the polished wooden desk.

Saffron sits down while mumbling a 'Thank you'.

Vesper walks in saying 'Thanks'.

They both take a seat on each of the chairs.

The man closes the door and walks around his desk to his brown leather chair.

"So Vesper, do you plan to tell her, or shall I?" He turns to face Vesper, his hands folded on the desk in front of him.

"I think it would be best for you to tell her everything, and I will tell her what I need to tell her at the end."

"Oh, just tell me Vee!" She whines.

"I will, you just need to listen first,"

So there Saffron laid back in the leather chair and listened. Listened to how Vaera's Keep is actually an Assassin's Keep. Listened to how she was to train and start the following week to get settled in. Listened to how this was to be her new home. Listened to how her whole world turned upside down.
