The letter switches from hand to hand, as her palms get sweaty of how this letter can impact the world. She feels as though she is holding the future of everyone in her hands, in fact, she is holding the future of everyone in her hands. She walks through Vaera Village wearing a dark robe to blend in with the shadows of the buildings. No one bats an eye in her direction as the annual event, Sorrow Streets is getting set up. Everyone already in the streets are waiting with excitement.

During this event all the criminals that have been caught, such as thieves, murderers and others, have to walk down a road with Vaera's town folk surrounding them. During this time the town are allowed to hit and throw things at the criminals. But only if they can reach from the spot where they are standing or sitting, at no point are the town folk allowed to go on the road unless they are the escorts for the criminals. If they do go on the road, they get a number and join the criminals in their trial.

Some children as little as four get sentenced. Most of the time the young children are doing their parents' dirty work, or are homeless and steal a bit of bread.

You have the option when you first get captured to have a trial in the cell with the guards and maesters, or to wait however long for the next Sorrow Streets.

After the walk of Sorrow, the criminals go into a building with a stage. They get a number painted on their foreheads of where they are in line. One by one each criminal gets called out by their number. They come out and a trial is held, the town folk decide whether you live or die, hence why young kids choose this option as they can get people to feel bad for them so that they are saved. The guards and maesters don't care what age you are, if you're a criminal, you're a criminal. Most of the time though, young kids aren't innocent and are hung from the gallow with the rest of the criminals.

The bodies are disposed of in a wagon. After the trial, the dead are taken to be burned, the ones who did the worst crimes aren't given the gift of setting their soul free. Usually if there is a family or person who the criminals did something to, the family or person chooses how they are buried or burned. If they get buried or burned. If the family chooses for them not to be buried the escorts take the bodies and dump them near a pack of wolves.

The innocent ones left are held for another trial while the dead are being disposed of. This trial would determine whether they will be slaves or would be free from any charges until the next crime they commit.

Afterwards the people who are chosen as slaves are taken to Pirate Bay to be auctioned off.

She looks away from the people already lining up on the side of the road for the event to begin. She continues her way through alleys and abandoned sidewalks to get to the destination of where her letter is being sent to. Her boots crunch on the gravel below as she gets closer to the Keep.

When she sees the outline of the Keep, she begins to walk a little faster. The Queen said that she wanted her to deliver the letter on time, she also said that she wants a response as soon as possible. If she failed her Queen, she doesn't know what would happen to her.

As she walks up the steps to the wooden door, she takes down her hood, showing her face and fiery red hair. She takes a second to admire the door before knocking, it has spiral details leading from bottom to the top. Whoever paid for this must have a lot of money.

Her hand goes to the golden door knocker, she lifts it up and hits it twice.

"Name and business?" She hears a boys voice from the other side of the door
