"but babeeeeee-" i cut him off.
"karl i really have to get to work! you're going to get me fired!" i say, half jokingly.

"then i'll just come with you! it'll be fun!"

"karl- you can't come to work with me! you have stuff to do as well. it won't be long i promise. i get off work early today anyways!" i say, kissing him on the forehead.

"fine. i'll miss you." he pouts. i kiss him, immediately making him smile.

(skip to after work)

i unlock the door, and am soon met with a smiling karl.

"Y/N! YOUR HOME!" he hugs me and showers me with kisses.

"yes karl, i'm home!" i laugh.

he drags me to our shared room. snacks laid out and y/f/m ready to play.

"karl- i really don't deserve you." i smile at him.

"well we've both been working hard and i thought it'd be nice for us to have a mini movie date! i love you a lot" he smiles back, and kisses my hand.

we cuddle and watch the movie for the rest of the night :)
