Swim gone wrong

I pulled on the skinny swimsuit and felt really fat compared to the six pack Conner and everyone else had there. But instead of complaining I go on and jump in the water which is freezing cold might as well say I did the ice bucket challenge. I do a few rounds then start to get tired "Trevor if you want to stop you can." Conner says it still not breaking a sweat. "No I can do it"I say panting in between each word. I do just a few more before the room starts to spin I can feel myself sinking. The last thing I hear is Conner screaming my name and then it's all gone. I wake to someone holding my hand whispering something I can't hear and a loud beeping noise. I started to inch closer to the person hoping to hear what there saying not opening my eyes they saw me anyways. As soon as there body intertwined with mine I heard the familiar giggle and knew it could only belong to the one and only Sam Pottorff. "Sam" it barely reaches my mouth only to come out in a little squeak. I try to sit up only to cough and make a sound I've never heard before. "That was adorable." Sam says smiling lightly "you are never getting in pool without me again." he says still smiling but the fear in his eyes is noticeable. "Sorry" I manage to croak. "You know we're in here alone right now." he's smirking now and starts getting closer to me inch by inch. Just on time Conner burst in the room Sam quickly covers it by whispering "we'll do it later." followed by a wink. Conner stares at us then comes and gives me a hug looks at Sam and says "no dirty words or thoughts." we both laughed although mine was more like a cackle. After 2 days in the hospital they let me go back and me and Sam never got that moment. But after about a week it was late about nine and I turned the corner running into Sam. "Sam I'm so sorr-" i was cut short by Sam smashing his lips against mine. There it was I wanted to hold that kiss for so long but he let go after a few seconds. "Wow" I probably looked stupid as I said that "there you go now goodnight." he was already gone and I was left alone only with my thoughts to calm me which didn't help. --------------------------------
