"I can not believe table read is in just a week," I gush as Sadie, Finn, Noah, Caleb, Gaten, Millie and we walk together back to our houses after getting ice cream. It had been a long week of me going over lines obsessively, hanging out with Millie and Sadie, and now finally with the whole Stranger Things cast. I presume the next week will be the same, and hopefully I will get to know the whole cast of the new movie.

"Have the casting directors announced the whole cast  yet?" Sadie asked me as she finished her ice cream cone.

"No," I reply. "You would think since I produce some of the film I would know, but for some reason I haven't received any news about who plays Caden, my love interest." I explain to her. I was genuinely confused about that part of the upcoming movie. Table read was in just a week.

"Weird," Millie replied looking down as if embarrassed about something. She had acted like that for a bit and I was kind of worried but it's possible she was just tired, having recently finished both Enola Holmes and The Pain of Love. Which I felt bad about, knowing how exhausting filming and premieres can be.

"Yeah we need to find out who plays your love interest," Noah teased and every one laughed.

"A hundred percent, we need to find out who you're going to fall in love with," Finn added smirking and I rolled my eyes at them. 

"You guys are so immature," I scolded trying not to laugh.

"Actually," Sadie begin ed, it is not a little weird they haven't told Y/n who plays Caden?" she asks. " I mean table read starts in a week so they must have cast him." she proceeded, glancing at Millie who's eyes widened a bit and glared a Sadie. I frowned at the two of them, confused.

"Well Sadie," Millie said looking a bit bothered by some thing "I am sure Y/n got an email maybe she just didn't see it." she tells all of us, biting her lip and fidgeting a bit. She was lying.

"Millie?" I tilt my head towards her, frowning. "What's... wrong?" I ask her, knowing I have thoroughly checked my email and even my actual mail box.

Sadie looked down, pursing her lips then glanced back at Millie. "You should tell her," she told Millie. My eyes darted back to Millie who was looking at me looking guilty.

"Tell me what," I asked laughing a bit at the confusion and sudden tension around all of us.

"Y/n...." she started.

"Louis Partridge is playing your love interest!" Sadie blurted out before Millie could finish her sentence, probably because Sadie thought Millie would not actually come clean. She may have been right.

"Sadie!" Millie groaned looking back at her, seeming like she was a little mad but not too much, considering the three of us are best friends either way.

"What!" she replied in protest.

"Um, who is Louis... Louis what?" Noah started asking, forgetting his last name.

"Louis Partridge," I mutter back in response to him.

"Ah," Noah says " who is Louis partridge?" he proceeds to ask.

"The guy that acts with me in Enola Holmes, he was Y/n's best friend back in London," Millie explains calmly, glancing at me in the corner of her eye but I just remain numb.

"Was?" Gaten raises his eyebrows.

"Yes, was." Sadie replies, also looking at me now. I think I could feel all of their eyes resting on me...

"Louis Partridge is playing my love interest?" I look at Sadie and Millie. I thought I had specifically told them Louis and I could not work together. I mean in all fairness maybe I did not give enough good reasons why the two of us working on the movie together would not be good but still.
