“what?!!” everyone shouted and Nate…. Well, he did spit the water on dove’s shoulder and for that he got a hit on the head. “what?? It’s not like people are lining up for the trails” “it doesn’t mean that you are going to take the serum!!” Shirin exclaimed. “and what if something goes wrong?” Nate added “and what does this serum or formula or whatever is it you are taking, what does it do?” Dove asked. “that’s classified” I said answering her” and I am not going to fall for your death stare this time” and then it came no one spoke anything for the next 20 seconds or so, then Shirin spilled the beans “it is meant to change certain genetic sequences that are associated with our senses and make them more......" " evolved” dove interrupted “really Shirin, you had to break the protocol didn’t you.” “hey she just answered my question so if you want to hold a grudge, then hold it against me not her you understand” dove said in a threating tone. “I am going to be doing this, now either you 3 are with me or you are not.” Then I went back to my lab. And there I saw something peculiar, the rat’s iris they had turned red. I called Cole [my 2nd assistant] and asked if he had seen this happen before he said “no sir the last time I saw his eyes were normal” “so did you give him something or did you add something in his meal?” I asked “No sir nothing new was given to him, but sir I haven’t given him his lunch” “bring me an apple” then I sliced a part of the apple and kept it at a distance from the cage and then.…… the rat grew aggressive it looked like he just wanted to tear the cage apart and just eat the apple. Then I gave him the apple, he ate it like he had never eaten anything in his life, then his iris turned back to normal. “See if this is the case with the other animals” I said and same result both of them became aggressive when they weren’t fed. “Self-note, never be hungry” I said to myself. Then the gang came in “Bud you sure you want to do this?” Nate asked “my decision is final” I replied “Then we are with you” Dove completed “thank you……thank you all…. you don’t have any idea what this means to me.” “Cut the crap now, you won’t be getting any hugs form us” said “Dang it” I said. “now if the melodrama is done, some of us have to get back to our offices” then we all went back to our work spaces. “so, when are you taking it?” Shirin asked “today with dinner” “seriously” “in a week”.

Today is the day when I chose the……option, lets just call it that for now. A choice that was rather stupid but was worth a try. I took the serum a week ago but, I had my eyes covered so nothing really happened, I was just laying in the observation room. And when I did open my eyes well something happened.

This was the first thing I saw. “what kind of Dagon cultists are you 3? And why am I strapped in this hospital bed?” no reply and them the one on the left approached me, with a rag in his hand “Pals if you wanted a BDSM you could have just asked me, but right now I am in middle of an experiment sooo…. can we just add this to my next month schedule?” and he was still closing in, then I screamed terribly like the 1960’s women in horror movies. And then next thing I see and hear are all of those 3 laughing and the one that was seated in the middle fell down laughing “hey what’s so funny?” “your scream…...” the one who fell down said and continued laughing “wait I know that voice…...Nate is that you?” then they removed their masks and it was the infamous 3 Nate, Dove and Shirin. “ha…ha…ha, very funny guys NOW LET ME OUTTA HERE” just then Cole came running in and said’ which one of you ladies is hurt? I have a first aid kit right here” then they laughed even more and Cole unstrapped me.
After their ‘Hilarious prank’ they started their tests, Shirin took a blood sample and Dove examined me for other changes and I don’t know why but she really wanted to see my eyes turned red. Then she told me to do something that I found rather strange even for her, she made me jump from about 9 feet high stand “You sure you want me to jump?” “yea…. Do a flip if you can” “this isn’t the office alright” “JUST JUMP GODDAMN IT!!!!” and I actually tried to do a flip and I landed on my back horribly. She came running “You, ok?” “I think so, I don’t feel anything broken in my pants” “get up dumbass. And give me your hand” “heyyy…heyyy girl you and I…. we are better as friends” she grabbed my hand a struck my hand with those little oxygen measuring things” hmm the oxygen supply in your body is the same” “so does that mean I have more stamina?” “kinda, and yea I forgot to tell you Shirin wanted to have a word”

When I went to the lab and she was looking at the blood vile in which she had my blood in “Hey you wanted to talk?”  “yea take a look at this, your DNA its altered or its mutated more than the animals” “so at what point do I get my super powers?” “I don’t think you will be getting any. And yea one more thing you can’t leave the building until the board says so” “Really?” “yea, but you can roam freely throughout the building but with these on” and then she handed me a hoody and a cap “why do I have to wear these?” “No one knows that you have taken a secret formula that has altered your DNA, that those platinum blonde hair of yours kinda give off the whole ‘secret experiment’ thing.” “okay, and hey, did they change the WIFI password or something? My net isn’t working properly” “I don’t think that they have”

All the changes have occurred in my body by now and, no I didn’t get any super powers. I have been dressing mostly in a hoody and a cap now a days, and I am a full on so called ‘all protein diet’ which is a pain in the arse I can’t even have my mild coffee all I get is that black coffee. AND I STILL CAN’T LEAVE THE BUILDING, but yea I can still meet up with the gang and can continue my research in my lab.
It has been 4 weeks since my ‘mutation’ and I am also keeping a audio diary in my labs computer. Yea I am that lonely now I can only meet people during lunch hours and that too are 3 of my friends and 1 of them works with me.

It was 12 o clock midnight and I went up to my lab to enter my daily log, and I don’t know why but I got up to see if the sample of the serum was ok or not and when I took it out, I heard a faint footstep I kept the sample in my pocket and that’s when I saw a shadow approaching me. I hid in a dark corner between the closet and my labs table. Then the man entered the lab and all I could see was that he was wearing some kind of hoody and a cape like those vigilantes wear and then he tried to sign into my pc [fun fact: my pc has a kill switch which means if someone types the wrong password more than 3 times it will clear all the data and overload itself and then a small KABOOM] and he already had typed the wrong password 2 times and then when he was trying it the 3rd time I stood up to him and I startled him and pressed enter and it happened all my research gone just like that. “Do you have any idea what you just did? You just blew up my years of research and priceless information” and then he turned and his whole body was visible he was wearing some kind of armor it was glowing in the head region and the fingers

“Hey Boba Fett I am talking to you; can you hear me through that thick helmet of yours? Let me help you take it off” then I felt a surge flowing through my veins I felt powerful like I had never felt and them ‘BAAMMMMM’ he kicked me and even with my super reflexes I wasn’t able to stop him and I went flying back into a table………...
