All three of them laid on the ground, exhausted beyond disbelief, cream wondered how fresh had so much stamina compared to the rest he's sparred with, Rus just wondered where the heck was fresh hiding all of his abilities, while edge just wanted more sparring and training with fresh so he could get stronger.
Fresh just sat criss cross on the ground a bit away from them, his grin still on his face, he didn't look tired at all and was actually just rocking a bit back and forth cheerfully.
"How the hell are you so fast?" Rus asked, not getting up since he still felt sore.
"Oh that's simple my broski's! I can push any body to the limits and over!" Fresh cheerfully responded and Rus grumbles at that.
Cream smiled, "oh that sounds interesting! But wouldn't it strain the body?"
"Not if you reinforce it with magic bruh." Fresh pulled his hands up a bit to the side.
"Hmm..I'd have to learn that, would be useful against enemies.." edge muttered a bit.
"Oh I can teach you three bruhs! Error bruh probably wouldn't mind..probably." Fresh stated, arms crossing a bit.
"Really? Oh that's going to be so exciting! Right rus, edge?" Cream happily responded, still laying down on the ground as well from the lack of energy.
Rus just nodded, stubbornly, if it meant learning from fresh on how to do the things he did so Rus wouldn't ever have to lose anyone, well he's willing to learn even if it really pushed his body to the limits and over.
Edge just grinned gleefully at that, "now this is going to be fun...just let us regain our energies first before you even start."
Fresh just nodded cheerfully and pulled out snacks and drinks for them when they're able to sit up.
Fresh started humming a bit, it sounded like some song that the recognized a little bit...
"Are you humming a song?" Rus asked, head slightly tilting up to look at fresh who slightly paused a little bit.
"...yep I am brah!" Fresh responded a few seconds later.
"Oh? What kind of song is it?" Cream asked this time, rolling onto his front area a bit to rest his chin on his arms that crossed underneath his chin.
Edge just slightly titled his head a bit, listening in.
"Welp! It's a pretty good one in my opinion! Someone used to sing it to me all the time when I was younger. It's rises the moon." Fresh told them cheerfully, seemly confident in something.
Cream and edge didn't recognize the song name at all, but Rus did, it was after all, one of his favorite songs in his last life, so how could he not recognize it?
He didn't show any signs though, since it seemed fresh was confident about them not knowing it.
"Never heard of it." Edge finally admitted after sometime.
"Same.." cream responded and Rus just shrugged his shoulders.
Fresh's grin just widened a bit at that, "course not little broski's."
Edge just huffed, slightly annoyed now as he pulled himself up to sit up and slowly ate a few things while he was at it.
It took another few more minutes before cream and Rus could sit up to eat the snacks as well, it just seemed like edge recovered faster than the two of them.
Fresh just watched them for a bit, he still had the grin on his face as he leaned forward a little bit, "welp! Almost time for round two! You little bruh's got an entire hour left to rest before the next round begins!"
Welp, at least they had an hour left, rus thought to himself, slightly nodding at that.
Cream just looked excited and edge just seemed a bit excited and gleeful at more training.
Rus was just amused as they got some time to snack and just wait around as their magic recovered more..
