Meeting underfell papyrus

This time, I accidentally did trip, it wasn't a on purpose trip but accidentally one...

Which is how I ended up in this situation, with me meeting underfell papyrus at the age of ten.

I stared at underfell papyrus who had summoned a bone and looked ready to attack me.

I blinked, "oh sorry for staring." I said with a hint of apologetic look.

He somewhat relaxed at that but was still pretty tensed, "who the hell are you? Why do you look like me?" He questioned me with a serious look on his face.

"Oh my names papyrus, I'm from another universe. Your the papyrus of this universe. But you may call me rus, I have a friend who is called cream because he's also a papyrus." I told him and he looked startled with a hint of disbelief.

"What? More universes?" Fell papyrus said a bit startled still and he frowned.

"Yeah, what do you want your nickname to be? Since there are more universes out there, it's better to have a nickname around." I said and fell papyrus just stared in silence for a few seconds before he answered me.

"...whatever, just call me edge then. Since I'm guessing my universe is a bit more..edgy then yours?" Edge said with a questioning tone.

I nodded at that before smiling, "yeah, oh hey! Want to meet cream?" I asked and he blinked before tilting his head.

"... will I be able to come back here?" Edge asked me and I nodded.

"Yeah! I should be able to despite this being the first time I'm here, but it should be added to the list of aus I can go to now when I accidentally trip." I told him and he looked confused by that.

"...accidentally trip?" Edge started out, still confused.

"Yeah, when I trip, I can go to an au, mostly the accidental ones are the ones I usually end up in aus I've never been in before." I said with a cheerful smile.

Edge stares at me in disbelief, "...by accidentally tripping? How the hell does that work!?"

I shrugged my shoulders, I didn't know how it worked to be honest but it's what happens, I'm just surprised that one and only time that I've tripped on purpose and ended up in horrortale...and now underfell..

"I don't know to be honest, it just happens, so want to meet cream?" I asked edge who stood there for a few seconds before walking closer to me.

He stopped some inches away, still giving me space to move without accidentally hitting him.

"...come on then, I don't have all day." Edge told me and a delighted smile took over my current one and I gently grabbed edges hand who looked tensed again.

I started to move again and edge followed me and then I tripped, the portal opening back up as edge and I dropped in.

I felt edges hold on my hand tighten quite a bit, probably startled or something.

"Don't worry edge, this happens all the time when I trip." I said, trying to reassure him, he didn't look very reassured at all, which is understandable because he's from a fell universe, that and it's his first time going through a portal like this in the first place.

I thought and we dropped through, I glanced up to see cream happily walking over with a curious look on his face.

"Heya cream, this is another papyrus, his nickname is edge." I said as edge was trying to recollect his bearings and look around at the same time before his attention snapped over to us when we started talking.

"I can introduce myself." Edge said displeased and I just smiled and shrugged my shoulders at that.

"Hello edge! It's nice to meet you! I'm cream!" Cream said cheerfully holding out his hand for edge to shake.

Edge just stared at creams hand with a confused look and cream frowned as he put his hand back down.

"Do they not do handshakes back in your universe?" Cream questioned with a concerned look.

Edge blinked and looked up again at us.

"What's a handshake?" Edge asked and cream let out a gasp of horror.

"Oh no! This won't do! I'll shall teach you how to handshake! And anything else they don't do in your universe! Rus shall help as well!" Cream started and wait what?

Oh ok, that's fine with me, I thought and nodded.

Edge just looked confused, and over the next few hours, we were teaching edge different things, like handshakes, how to hug without trying to dust someone, even how to cook better and other foods he hasn't heard of and all that.

Then I ended up taking him home after that, we can continue to teach and have him play with us next time.  I thought as we got back to underfell and edge looked tensed again while looking at me.

I blinked, "what's wrong edge?"

He was silent for a moment before his mouth opened, "...you'll come back and visit...right?" He looked a bit hopeful and I softened a bit.

"Of course I will, I'll be coming every now and then when my brother is gone to pick you up before we head to creams au." I told him and edge relaxed after that.

I quickly and gently gave him a hug, edge tensed back up again before he relaxed again.

Edge gently and carefully hugged me back and then we let go.

"I'll probably be meeting you right here since I seem to end up in the exact same spot when I trip." I told him and edge nodded at that as I left back to my au.

I decided to cook some extra food, horrortale has enough food to last them for a few weeks depending on what they do with it but I was planning to visit them again on the next visit, so I was making more food to hide.

Cream should be doing that soon and when edge is told, he might make some food to give to us. But he might not because I'm uncertain about how much food they have in that au.

In some stories I read, the underfell's did go through a period of time starving, but in some it was when they were kids and others...I'll just have to ask him before we tell him anything next time.

I thought and hide most of the food in my room and ate my share.

I left a plate for my brother along with a note saying I'm going to bed early.

Which is what I did and fell asleep a few minutes later.

So umm I posted this on the same day, mostly because I actually had this finished way before the chapter before this one
