Chapter 23 - Drugs and Secrets

POV Brandon:

God... I had sex with someone who has feelings for me...
Great... my best friend loves me... ugh but why? That's so annoying, now I can't live with him in the same apartment and-
wait... imagine Manu would react like that... and I would be hurt...
No... Alex is my best friend... so I need to talk with him again. But.. I'm so fucking high right now.. like right now I'm walking down the street on 3 am-

Manu: „Brandon? Is that you?"

Oh shit... THAT'S MANU-
He still is far away from me but he slowly comes to me. Shit no... he will notice I'm high and... I just can't see him right now after I saw him with that boy...
I run away and I have no idea where I am going.
It's so dark.
Where's my phone... oh no... I forgot my phone at KR's House... ugh...
Now I'm standing in front of the big sea...
I was here once... with Manu...
god the drugs is slowly going away.
I can feel my face getting warm...
tears coming out of my eyes...
god... why me?
Why is this all happening to ME?
I tried to give the life an second chance... and it's still messed up..
That's why I need to go away from here..
I need to go back to Apartment..
I need to pack everything and write a note for my friends... especially for Alex.. I don't want him to think that I left because of him..
I wipe my tears away and go back to Apartment..

POV Alex:

I hate myself. I fucking hate myself..
I'm crying here on the couch, not knowing what to do with my life..

KR: „Alex?"

I look up and it's KR and the others..

Caroline: „Why are you crying.. what happened? Where's Brandon?"

Alex: „He left... because I told him that I love him.."

KR: „What the- seriously? So he's homophobic?"

Alex: „No no... I mean we had sex... but he still doesn't love me.."

Bunna: „Wait guys... what is this noise..."

Bar: „From what phone is that coming from.."

Caroline turns around and sees the phone on the table which was ringing.

Caroline: „Oh... that's Brandons Phone.."

Johnny: „Who's calling?"

Caroline: „I don't know but Brandon is not smart enough cuz he doesn't has an code for his phone"

Bunna: „Uh let's see.."

Alex: „Guys we shouldn't do that, that's illegal.."

KR: „Dude we drank alcohol which is illegal here too"

Caroline: „Oh.. it's the friend of Brandon who called him..."

Bunna: „Oh my god how does he look like?"

We all are looking at Brandon's phone and a pic of his friend shows up...

Bunna: „T-That's his friend?.. he looks so hot..."

KR: „For real.."

George: „Uhh..."

KR: „Ugh shut up, don't be jealous"

Alex: „O-Okay it's enough now"

I take the phone away and lay it on the table.

Alex: „So maybe he's with his friend right now.. and I don't know what to do when I see him again.."
