Party invites

Next day at school..

So my party? It has to be live.. I don't want just anyone there either, so without an invitation there's a twenty dollar fee. At school today is when everyone would know if they either have to pay to get it, or they're just on my good side.

The invitation was simple.. Basically just telling those who were invited that the attire was Formal, food & drinks will be served, those over the age of 21 have to pay for alcoholic beverage, if having a invitation and choosing to bring a friend $10 fee, and lastly that there will be a celebrity appearance.

Those were all the details given, and just enough to get my party jumping.

I got to school a little earlier than everyone, so began to slip the invites in certain lockers.

I handed none of them out face to face.

I even slipped a few in here and there between classes and by the time I got to lunch was all finished.

At Lunch:

Gabz, Dominic, Drake, Jayanna, Jaidyn, and I all sat together. All the girls talked about was what they'd be wearing to my birthday Gala & the boys were at the other end of the table talking about whatever.

By the minute I got more and more excited for the big day.

You ready?

One week..

After school, Gabbi and I headed straight home.

My mother was just getting home as we pulled into the garage.

"Hey moms" I smiled.

"Hows your party planning going?" she asked.

"Good."

"You have the venue, dj, catering services, decorations, and booking all handled?"

"Yes ma'am."

"Ok. I'm leaving midnight, so I'll leave my card and you go get those outfits you wanted tomorrow after school."

"Ok mom. You cooking?"

"Yes I am. Get to your homework sweetie."

"Yeah, ok."

I walked upstairs into my room, and Gabbi was sitting on my bed while on the phone.

"Who's that?" I practically and purposely yelled.

"Jaidyn."

I grabbed my bookbag, and first pulled out my chemistry homework.

When the both of us were finished all of our homework, we went downstairs and ate what my mom had cooked for dinner.

She had made breakfast for dinner🙌🏾. Perfect day for this.

When finished eating😋. I drove Gabbi home so she could pick out what she'd be wearing tomorrow to school, then we came home and watched a movie while eating ice cream until we eventually fell asleep.
