Chapter 12

"Candy Land, Casino, Fairytale... and Animalandia," I read. "Anything else?"

Crystal raised her hand, "How about Beach Party? We could have an indoor bonfire, let some Reggae band play, and oooh! We could also hire some fire dancers!" she exclaimed excitedly.

"Alright, let's add Beach Party to the list." I said, writing it on the white board.

We're in the office discussing about the possible themes for our back to school dance that will be held next month. We encouraged the student body to post their suggestions to our Facebook page and we received many ideas, including some... absurd ones. One student posted about a 'Nude Party', I cannot imagine how Ms. Snow, the principal would react to this. Some were also suggested by the council. 

We let the promotional team make posters for each one of these five themes and post it on Facebook. The students will 'like' the theme they choose best and the theme that has the most number of likes at the end of the week will win.

"Alright, so Crystal you think you and your group could make the posters overnight so that we could start voting by tomorrow evening? We don't have much time left. You have the descriptions, right?" I asked.

"Of course, we already made drafts for some like the Animalandia, Candy Land and Casino. We'll work on the two themes now. I'll send you a copy after we finish it maybe later this evening." she said happily. 

"Okay, I'll wait for your email tonight, thanks!" I smiled at her.

"So for the events committee please just hold until we've finished voting so that we could discuss about the props and all that stuff, okay?" I looked at the group and they nodded. 

"That's it for today guys, thanks for coming. Let's meet again tomorrow." I dismissed them and some hurriedly got out of the room to go home.

I looked at my wristwatch and saw it's already five thirty. I went outside the hallway but I didn't find Matty and Ty. I guess they're still not finished. So I decided to go to the football field and wait for them there. 

"Bree!" someone called me. I turned and saw Jeremy walking towards my direction smiling so broadly, obviously fresh from the shower. 

"Hey Jer, have you seen my boys?" I asked, smiling at him.

"Yeah, still in the shower doing their 'alone time'." he said, grinning widely.

I burst out laughing, "Eeew you're so gross! I could not imagine Matty and Ty doing some... things together." I said disgusted at the thought. 

"What things?" I squeaked because suddenly, I felt strong arms around my stomach and was swept off my feet, I turned and saw Matty grinning like an idiot. He spun me around as I kicked with all my might but it doesn't seem to affect him.

"Ty, help!" I called as I saw him walking towards us with all his super hot wet look glory. His hair is still so wet he looks like a model from a summer shoot. He just smirked and walked slowly like he has all the damn time in the world while Matty is spinning me around like crazy. I'm getting dizzy and dizzier. 

"Alright that's enough." he said coolly when he arrived in our small circle.

"You're no fun," Matty pouted. But he finally let me down, "Bree! Let's go to McDonalds, I'm starving to death." closing his eyes, acting like he's going to faint.
