Chapter 21

"Hey pretty girl."

A voice said through my ear, a sound I know so well. He smells like a bit of smoke and perfume and mint that blends so well. I turn around and there he is, the most handsome guy I've seen my whole life. He's wearing a tux and carrying a blue rose, smiling as I drool looking at him. His tux fits him well... Very well indeed. And I peek to his lower backside to see that sexy butt of his. Oh my goodness. How can he be that hot? Very athletic body, not too muscular and not too skinny. Just perfect. Yum!

"Ehem. Finished "ravaging" my body?" He smirked.

Oh God, that was embarrassing!

"I was so not looking at your body! I was just checking if you missed anything or what." I said defensively.

"Well, did I missed anything?" He said moving his head closer to my face. I swallowed hard, my heart beating fast. He looks so gorgeous up close God help me. I can smell his fresh minty breath, I closed my eyes and waited for the thing that I was expecting. The thing that I miss so much. The kiss. 5, 4, closer... 3, closer... 2, almost there... 1. He kissed me. Yes he did. But not to where I was expecting. He kissed me on my forehead. On my freaking forehead. Just like when your grandma kiss you. Sheez.

"Now you look disappointed." Ty said smirking.

"I am so not."

"Yes you are." He said now laughing. His eyes twinkling with joy.

"Whatever." I turn around and went to my room to get my purse. He's so annoying! Of course I wanted to be kissed on the lips! Who doesn't?

We are still at my house getting ready. Leila is in her room finishing up her make up. She wore the dress we bought last time. A hot pink fitted dress that shows her cleavage. Well you know Leila, she said if you got it, flaunt it. She looks gorgeous.

I on the other hand wore this peachy pink light colored dress with small stones all over. It's not too fit, it looks classy. I put my hair up and left a couple of strands that falls lightly on the side of my face. A small glittery diamond clip at the side of my hair. I wore strappy stilettos that I made sure are comfortable to wear the whole duration of the event.

"Guys, time to go." Matty said. He wore his tux perfectly. He looks like a runway model but with a more athletic build.

"Coming." I called out, grabbing my purse on the chair. I made sure to have my phone charged 100% and bought a power bank in case.

My mom took pictures of us and made sure to send some pictures at Leila's parents. They called awhile ago and were happy that Leila got along very well with us.

We used Ty's car since it's more spacious and Matty's. We're only like 2 minutes away from the school and we can see that cars start to crowd the street going to the parking lot of the school.

"Why don't you guys go along and I'll just look for a parking space." Ty suggested. "Bree since you're my date, you'll accompany me." Ty said, stifling a smile.

"Sure, you go now guys and look for a nice table." I said to Matty and Leila, keeping my voice straight. Leila gave me a knowing look but the two of them agreed and got out of the car.

"Where can we find a parking space? It's so full!" I said.

"Just watch and see." Ty said. We turned the car and we see a reserved parking sign.

"How did you-" Oh. Now I know, it's part of his plan.

"I got my ways." Ty said, grinning. "That way, we could buy more time for ourselves before the chaos starts." he added, smiling. My heart starts thumping. Oh my.

He reached under his seat and pulled a small box. He then looked at me with his piercing eyes and gave me the box.

"Open it." he said.

I opened it and saw the most beautiful thing. A gold Cartier love bangle.

"Oh Ty..." I said, astonished. It's so beautiful. I always wanted one but feels guilty to buy since it's very expensive. The bangle is very simple yet very elegant. I looked at it closely and saw an engraved initials of T.M & B.C. I also noticed that he has his on his wrist already. It's a pair! Oh gosh, I don't know how much this costs but I know that one bangle already costs so much. I started to protest when he stopped me.

"A beautiful lady like you deserves a beautiful thing like this." he said, my heart melting. I got teary eyed quickly. He's so sweet!

"Thank you. It's so pretty... You don't have to though." I said, admiring the jewelry.

He just smiled and put the bangle on my left wrist. It fits perfectly. He will be the one to keep the screws and all that since I'm too careless to keep it. That means I cannot take this off without its screw and I have no plans on taking this off.

"I'm glad you like it."

"Like it? I love it!" I said cheerfully, wrapping my arms around his neck and hugging him tight.

"You smell so good it's addicting." he said, burying his face on my neck.

"You smell good too." I said, laughing a bit. He smells extra good today, I like it so much!

I felt a light kiss on my neck and instantly felt a warm sensation in my body. Oh My God. What is he doing to me. He planted light kisses on my neck until I produced a small sound I don't know where it came from, but it's embarrassing! He laughed at my reaction and I swatted him. He knows what he's doing to me and he's making fun of it.

"Alright, I'll stop now. Maybe it's time to go inside." he said, still looking amused. He looks extra handsome tonight. I'm sure all of the girls would be so delighted to see him. I almost forgot that I needed to be at the event earlier to check if everything's good. I checked my watch and saw that it's still early. Yes there are many early birds today but I guess it's because of the limited parking spaces in our school.

He opened my side of the door and escorted me inside the school's gymnasium where the event would be held. We can see the bright lights from here, all twinkling like little stars in the sky. We can also hear the music beating but not so loud since it would still be the program proper and all of the school's heads are here to deliver short speeches and introductions before the party.

We entered the back door of the gymnasium because it's the shorter way to the small booth we created for the organizers. As we entered the backstage, we were greeted by some of the members who were already there.

"See you later." I said to Ty. Missing him every second we're apart. I know, I know, I'm becoming all mushy here.

I have to work quickly and make sure everything's functioning well. I checked everything from the lights to sound system, microphones and food. Everything's perfect. The gymnasium does not look like a gym anymore. It looks pretty and colorful and glittery. I hope everyone will have a good time tonight. My phone rang and saw that it's Crystal, she's one of the members and she's in charge of the music.

"Hey Crys." I answered.

"Bree, we got a huge problem."
