We walked down the streets towards one of the refugee camps in Nagel. Zemo a good 5 meters infront of us leading the way.

"Such a shame of what's happened to this place, when I was young we used to have fabulous dinners and parties here. I knew nothing of politics of the time, obviously. But I do remember it being beautiful" Zemo said looking up at the blue sky above us.

I noticed a GRC poster stuck onto one of the concrete walls of a building, faded and peeling at the edges.

"I'm going to have a quick look upstairs, I'll see what I can find" Sam said.

"Don't worry I'll keep an eye on him" I said nodding my head towards Zemo.

Sam walked off heading up the stairs of the GRC building.

"I'll stay out the way" Zemo said sarcastically, lifting his hands in mock surrender.

Zemo walked towards a group of children singing ba ba black sheep to himself. Definitely not creepy. I furrowed my brows at him in confusion but he ignored me.

Zemo then pulled a brown bag out of his jacket pocket holding it up to show the children.

He grabbed a stool taking a seat as he poured the contents of the brown bag onto the table. Candy. I swear, it looked like Zemo was about to kidnap these poor children.

"Turkish delight, it was my son's favorite" Zemo said sadly.

One of the girls approached him hesitantly taking a handful of the Turkish delights. I watched cautiously, leaning against the wall, fixating my gaze on Zemo.

"My friend Donya passed away, did you know her?" Zemo asked.

The little brunette nodded and whispered a small yes.

"I would like to pay my respects, do you know where her funeral will be" Zemo said.

Once again the little girl nodded. Ok so Zemo wasn't kidnapping the children he was simply getting information, thank god.

Zemo waved his finger and the girl rushed over and began whispering something in Zemo's ear.

"What the hell?" Bucky asked me, walking over to stand beside me.

"He's getting information" I whispered back.

I saw Sam climbing down the stairs and entering the courtyard giving Zemo a wary look.

"It's starting to feel like a dead end" Sam sighed.

Zemo then stood up and began talking in a hushed tone so we couldn't hear what he was saying. And theb tossed the candy on the ground for them to have.

"Cute kids" Zemo said walking straight past us.

We stood there for a second before following Zemo back to the house. Bucky slamming the door behind us.

"Welp I got nothin', no one is talking about Donya" Bucky huffed.

"Well yeah it's because Karli is the only one fighting for them" Sam said.

We walked over and took a seat on the couch.

"She's not wrong" Sam sighed.

"What do you mean?" I asked taking a seat across from him.

"For five years people have been welcomed into countries that have kept them out using barbed wire. There were houses and jobs, folks were happy to have people around to help them rebuild. It wasn't just one community coming together, it was the entire world. And then boom it just goes back to normal. For them at least Karli is doing something" Sam listed off.
