I waited patiently for her to read the letter. Feeling hopeless, I was about to leave when I heard the door swung open. I turned around to look at her... Like a wilted flower, she had lost her radiance and colour. Unkempt hair and tear-stained cheeks now adorned her... She opened the gate, pulled me in and hugged me ever so tightly. Grateful, I muttered, "I'm sorry for what I have done. I promise never to deal with the mafia again," I called the police to inform them about the infamous Sebastian Jones and his henchmen's whereabouts.
