"Alright lads, the plan is ready to commence. We're landing at the Ronald Reagan National Airport, once we land we'll get an escort to the Pentagon. I've informed the president that Merk's brainwashing is slowly failing and needs to be updated. Once we start getting everything fixed. We have two men on the inside, one has access to what we need and the other one is a guard. We're going to be in the room with our guy, preciously five minutes after we start our contact with our first guy the second will come in and relieve the guard of his duty, that's when we start our transfer of access. This is probably our only shot in making sure Merk regains his consciousness from the president's control" said Hesh
"What if it doesn't work? What if we get caught?" asked one of Hesh's men
"We won't get caught, if it doesn't work then we'll find a damn way" said Hesh
"Trust us man, Hesh is highly respected up in the government. If he wanted to he could walk into the White House, he's the man responsible for making Merk, so I whole heartedly believe he can make him right again" said Sergeant Falls
As the three of them were talking they heard two gunshots down the hallway
They grabbed their guns and ran towards the shots

Five minutes earlier
Merk, MSTF1 (Merk Special Task Force)

Merk and his men were walking through the airport about to head outside to get into a convoy heading into the city
Everything was quiet for once and it appeared the city wasn't experiencing any attacks
"Check your equipment and ammo situation, we're going to be out there for a few hours before we allow civilians to go back" said Merk
"Do we ever get a break?" asked Triston
"If you want a break take a bullet for your country. Other than that we're always going to be out there fighting" said Merk
As they kept walking they noticed two civilians inside the airport terminal that weren't supposed to be there
"Uh sir, since when are civilians allowed to be in here?" asked Adam
"They're not. HEY! PUT YOUR FUCKING HANDS UP!" yelled Merk
The two people who entered looked at them and took off running
"Damnit. Command we have a security breach in west side of the airport heading southbound" said Merk
"What breach?" asked Command
"Two civilians, possibly rebels" said Merk

As they turned the corner they saw the two people continuing to run away
"STOP RIGHT NOW OR WE'RE GONNA SHOOT!" yelled Merk
One of the people stopped while the other one continued forward
The one who stopped turned around and ran towards Merk and his men
"STOP! STOP NOW!" yelled Merk
The person didn't stop and continued running at them
"Engage" said Merk
They all opened fire on the person, hitting them multiple times, killing the person
As they approached the body they took off the hood and mask the person was wearing and found to be a female
"She's dead, check her for weapons" said Merk
As they examined the body they found her to be wearing a bomb vest
The detonator was in her left hand and was a few feet away from her body
Presumably was dropped as she was shot
Merk and his men heard more gunshots coming from ahead of them
"Adam stay here with the body don't let anyone near until we get EOD" said Merk

As they ran towards the gunshots there was the other person taking cover while Marines were firing at him from down the hallway
Merk took aim and with one bullet, hit the person in the lower back making him drop to the ground
They ran up to secure his weapon and restrain him
"Command situation has been contained. One female KIA, and one male in custody. You got some answering to do buddy" said Merk
"You're going to have to kill me before I speak" said the man
"Challenge accepted. Patch him up. I don't want him bleeding out by the time we get to interrogate him" said Merk

As they were moving him to integration they saw Hesh, and Sergeant Falls running towards them with their guns
"Hesh is everything okay?" asked Merk
"Yeah, I presume this is the one responsible for those shots?" asked Hesh
"Yep, we just had a one try to use a suicide vest on us and this one we just shot in the back. Moving him to advanced interrogation" said Merk
"Ah the fun illegal shit, good choice sir" said Hesh
"Care to join?" asked Merk
"Unfortunately can't, we're heading to D.C. on terms of advancing our budget. I'm looking at getting us a bunch of new fun shit" said Hesh
"I can't wait to see Hesh, see you when you get back" said Merk
